I keep waiting for some character to suddenly jump up and shout "TROLL!!"

 

You know what this whole arc is? Aizen's Bankai. Ichigo never defeated him back at FKT's conclusion, everything that followed was just one massive genjutsu torture devised to mindscrew him and everyone else who ever saw his Shikai.

There is no way these worthless fucks are harassing the Shinigami Captains and Lieutenants in such a manner, even with Ichigo's potential suffused in with their normal powers.

Tsukishima doesn't even have any of it! How can a regular human keep apace with a bankai that Ichigo was barely able to match after such grueling battles and training? Its mocking everything we've seen!

 

Chapter seemed pointless.

 

I choose to believe that Byakuya is just fucking with Tsukishima so as to shatter him all the more when he gets bored of things.

 

Uhhh, is Byakuya even using his bankai? I thought he was just using his shikai thus far.

I think this is just a setup for Byakuya (and Rukia) to both win using Kidou, personally.

 

Looking at it again and double-checking a description, it looks like you're right. I could have sworn he dropped the sword to the ground at the beginning of their fight earlier when I said that.

 

Jesus christ. Kubo is just trolling at this point. Its a contest between Kishimoto and Kubo. Who can ruin their own series faster.

 

Kishi won a long time ago. Sharinganarm and all that.

The sharingarm was worse. This is just a mediocre arc. That was extremely terrible. There is a significant difference.

Also, "Full-Queers"? Get the fuck out.

 

How exactly is Byakuya not a fullbringer drone right now? Wasn't that the whole point of the battle? Get hit once, you lose?

 

Well, the battle seems to be suggesting otherwise, but it's been established that Tsukishima's "you're my best friend ever" powers take some time to activate.

 

Are we sure Tsukishima really did manage to cut Byakuya? This is the guy who was 'trained' by the Goddess of Flash. I just can't see a human cutting him, despite the fact that Tsukishima apparently now knows of one of Byakuya's secret techniques.

 

If he is to be believed, he knows all of Byakuya's abilities and techniques-his supposed abilities are really rather ridiculous. What he did with Byakuya is actually the opposite of what happened to the other people he attacked. Before, with Orihime and Chad, he made them remember him as if he had been their friend all along. He does not seem to have done so to Byakuya, instead he reversed the direction so that he remembers doing things with Byakuya (apparently with great accuracy and detail).

 

You know, the only thing I can think of to explain this entire fucked up situation is the limiters. Do we know if the captains all still have theirs on? I mean, that still doesn't explain why Byakuya hasn't curbstomped Tsukishima chapters ago, but at least it gives us some possible explanations. Maybe they increased the limiter restrictions or something?

 

The problem with that theory is it's only Byakuya who really seems to be having that much trouble. Well, maybe Rukia too. Everyone else just kinda laughed their way through their opponents (Kenpachi, of course, doing it the fastest.)

Of course, Tsukishima is probably a whole hell of a lot stronger (even without Ichigo's fullbring abilities) than the other guys, so that's a factor, too. Ultimately though, I think Byakuya's just holding back. It doesn't really feel like he's trying.

 

Have to agree, it definitely seems like Byakuya's style to have everything thrown at him and then point out how absolutely useless it all was. I mean, he really doesn't like Tsukishima, not a bit, and can we honestly say that the idea of Byakuya breaking him isn't entertaining?

 

I'd say the shinigami are all under limiters. Nothing we've seen suggests that they aren't. Ikkaku beat down the lucky guy with his bare hands, Kenpachi just cut the time guy in half, Renji hardly touched his sword and Hitsugaya just flash stepped around the whiney kid.

I can't help but feel that Rukia's fight is just Kubo getting the anime over-dramatisation out of the way, and Byakuya is probably still in the 'bitchusrs' frame of mind.

Two more chapters and we should be down the the Ichigo/Ishida vs Ginjo fight. Or whatever his name is.

 

New chapter of the shittiest arc ever.

 

I swear, if Ginjo breaks out a hollow mask I'm going to flip a god damn table.
