I think Soifon's bankai is pretty stupid. As someone described it, shoop da whoop. If it's something you need to timeout to tie yourself to a building (to brace for recoil?), maybe another character has an Abrams Tank bankai.

Soifon's fight has got to be the most anti-climatic of the entire bleach series. Barragan's release was awesome, to have him finished off in one shot is pretty freaking lame.

The fight with Stark at least looks a little interesting. He asked for their "bankais" so I'm hoping to see both Shunsui and Ukitake unleash some ownage. Starks melding with the loli was pretty lulzy though, a little repressed there Mr Kubo

Edit: Am I blind, or does it look like Stark is dual-wielding handguns?

 

I'm still not even sure what that bankai of hers was, but I loved the numerous closeups of Stark's and Kyoraku's stubbly face.

There were just too many speed lines for me to actually understand what the hell happened to Barragan. Did that missile pierce him? Did he try to dodge? What the fuck?

 

Let me be the first to say that I doubt he's dead. Next issue the smoke will clear and he'll be floating there saying 'is that your best shot' or some variation of the line before getting curb stomped by one of the other captains.

 

The quality of Bleach has dropped significantly in the past few chapters, beginning with the explanation of the arrancars being the avatars of whatever the hell, and ending up with guns.

Fuck you, canon.

I would love to comment on the last update, but I actually have no idea what was happening. The images were that incoherent. Not to mention the fact that marineaplha was actually right about the handguns.

Apologies for the double post, but I'd like to alert people that the new chapter is out, and it is... well, interesting. I searched for the proper image to express it for ten minutes before I gave up and went with something else.

 

I think I'm half way between jizzing in my pants and moaning in despair, because we just know this is going to turn into one big clusterfuck of a battle.

Naturally, the weird freak is the strongest. Wonderboy indeed. Well, at least we should see Juushirou and Shunsui's bankais. And the weird thingy wonderboy brought with him? Obviously some ridiculous experiment hollow that eats/absorbs reiatsu... ridicuously. Awe, who knows.

It'd actually be amusing if the Shinigamis would assault the Vaizards. Or Vizards? Whatever. They did originally try to kill them for being hollows iirc. Of course they're here to save Soul Society's ass and will probably get back in their good graces.

Is there currently another 'Council of the 46' ruling stuff, or does Yamamoto Shikeguni Genryuusai-dono pull all the strings?

Hell, after the Viz/Vaizards get beaten down, maybe they'll send some Zero Division people next >-<

But yeah, I'm looking forward to the mass Zanpakutou release and power-ups. One can only hope Kubo Tite manages to keep some kind of quality.

 

Yeah, unless the Vizards have gotten over 9000 powerups, I'm not too sure how they're going to stand a chance against Aizen, yet alone survive the next three chapters.
