Well, I can't say Bleach has been predictable lately. We've come a long way since the days of seven fight chapters in a row. Plotkai is still a thing though. And, who knows, maybe it is all going according to the plan will return too.

It's sad that bleach has gotten so shitty that Aizen and his infinite lame xanatos gambits leads to us rejoicing, because goddamn is this better then anything else thats happened in the last 100 chapters or so.

 

As great as it is that Aizen is released. Am i the only one who's upset at how Kubo is going out of his way to make Urahara constantly be dumbfounded lately? This is the motherfucker who outsmarted Aizen of all people, and Kubo really expects us to believe he hasn't even HEARD of this deity that possessed Ukitake?

Like really go back the last 2-3 chapters and count how many times Urahara had that dumb slackjawed look on his face.

I have a terrible feeling that the finale will involve Yhwach and Aizen spouting lots of vague but supposedly meaningful bullshit at each other, while everyone else stands around with a dumb look on their face.

 

Well, the first half of this week's chapter featured Yhwch duplicating Aizen's "Your entire life was all part of my master plan!" speech, except stupider.

The second half had one of the most bizarre, incomprehensible fight scenes I've ever seen. It was little better than a random sequence of unconnected images. I have no idea what happened, other than the fact that apparently Ishida did something to make it clear he's working with the Quincies.

And yet, the trainwreck is still so fascinating...

 

Personally, i'm just curious what excuse Kubo comes up with to put Uryuu even 1/10th the way to equalling Ichigo in battle capacity for their upcoming battle.

But yea, the Aizen repeated speech was pretty cringe-worthy especially. Well, also Uryuu landing a hit on Yorouichi.

 

My prediction is that it will end up that Mugetsu was the ultimate Quincy technique (because who else had an 'ultimate' technique that rendered you powerless afterwards that was cured by being stabbed?), and itll be Mugetsu Ichigo and Mugetsu Ishida vs Mugetsu Yhwach in a retarded ass final showdown.

Please manga-jesus, I know Kubo already copied Snake Way from Dragonball Z. But please don't let this be like when Goku fell off Snake Way and into Hell, and had to do a sidequest to make it back to Snake Way again.

 

How the fuck did that one quincy know what those little black things pouring out of the bullshit quincy king were and what they did and did not do? Thought this was the first time the guy absorbed the soul king or whatever it is he did.

 

He's Aizen's twin brother. He knows everything.

 

He seems to be the Quincy guy's second in command. What I got from it is that basically the soul king seems to be enemies to the shinigami and once the seals they used on him were broken his energy attacked them. Perhaps that's why the Quincy guy seems to think the soul king wouldn't mind being killed by him and was surprised that his arm interfered.

With all the talk about the quincy blood rejecting the mere idea of a soul king, why in the world would you think the soul king wouldn't mind if Bach killed him? It's pretty clear the true enemies of the soul king is the quincy's/Bach.

And if Bach, and thus quincy's are against the soul king, then its pretty clear the shinigami are with the soul king. The soul king hand bits are attacking them because Bach is most likely forcing his will onto it to do so while he finishes absorbing the reaitsu.

 

Because that's pretty much what Bach says when the hand appeared. http://www.mangapanda.com/bleach/618/9 He completely rejects the idea that the soul king would interfere with Bach's attempt on his life. He then immediately concludes that the hand stopped following the King's will when it was severed.

Anyway the Mangastream translation is a bit different from the Mangapanda one. In the MS one it seems like the Shinigami are the soul king's enemies from the beginning while the MP one seems like Bach is influencing it like you said.
