For the past 100 chapters, Bleach has been like the Shawshank Redemption - except with more tunnelling through shit, and no redemption.

Aizen is like a breathe of fresh air after all that.

you know a comic sucks when the thing everyone complained about for like 5 years straight starts happening again, and we're all happy because what came after that dude finally losing was even worse.

 

Well, I always liked Aizen as a villain. It's how things played out that was ridiculous.

 

Yea everyone loved Aizen as a villain. Just the Butterflaizen nonsense and the fact that the Espada aside from Wonderweiss and possibly Ulquiorra were pretty much shown to be 100% worthless since they were like infants compared to him.

But yea, now that Aizen is back to his human form, it's not so bad anymore. If Butterflaizen makes a comeback though, be assured we'll bring the pitchforks once again.

 

Are you forgetting how old the "nope that was all part of my plan too" that went on for hundreds of chapters was?

 

That was never something that really bothered me. It was kind of inverted because the Espada were worthless as well. I'd call BS on it now but back then there was at least some logic behind it. Ichigo is a freak of nature. If you know he exist then of course you'd keep an eye on him.

 

Read the fanfic "Uninvited Guests", it makes fun of that (and more) in a really funny way. Don't remember laughing so much at any fanfic.

Kubo trolled us twice in one chapter. I thought we were finally about to see Shunsui fight seriously.

Indeed. The one thing you can be just about sure of is that whenever Bleach looks like it might be shaping up to do something interesting, you will be disappointed.

 

A 3rd to nearly half of the chapter's pages committed to jokes, the actual content recapping shit we already knew or didn't need to see, and the final page being the only thing good about the chapter. Par for the course for Kubo.

 

And that last page will probably only lead to disappointment in the next issue.

 

Does anyone know of a website with scans that are as good as Mangastream's? They delete theirs after two weeks. Failing that, does anyone have the scans for 618?
