My prayers have been answered with the banning of bloodmage!!! It is as they say, "The dawning of a new age!" and I am ready to embrace it fully!

Whoever it was that banned "bloodmage" I solute you, thou shall be blessed in thine afterlife. (we hope)

I have only one problem.....I wasn't there to see it. *Wheeps uncontrollably at his loss.)

It was Vash, so get on your knees and pay homage to him, bitch. Bloodmage thought he could get away with it, he thought he could fool the admin, but he was proved wrong. F77 was culled from the list once more.

As was another... 3rdeye, who had not one, but three new usernames.

Void...calm down a little, lol. Also, please don't open a thread for people who get banned unless it's really 'Hall of Shame' worthy.

It was f77 again? How pathetic. No wonder I hated him! I think I gave out more rep since he joined, just so I could keep neg repping him when he deserved it, than i have in ages.

Well, I can safely say I'm glad he's gone.

On a side note, wasn't f77 the one who pretended to be a member of the opposite sex at one point?

What did Bloodmage do that he got banned for? I'm looking over these posts here and I can't quite see the reason posted.

Apparently, he was a former member who got banned and turned up several times later using different user names.

I think it was Tridentwatch a.k.a. Cupspeaker a.k.a. Standard... "Standard" was supposed to be a female emigrated from Nepal, I think. I read the bashing thread in the Hall of Shame before joining.

I'll be blunt. I don't get this whole idea of dancing on the grave of banned people. I pity f77. I also am a big believer in redemption (I know a big no-no, and one of everyone's favorite knocks against Albus).

He's apparently very desperate, and whatever sins he commited can surely be rectified. It seems like this has turned into a sick game where he tries to gain acceptance and the DLP community take schadenfreude and sadistic pleasure in hunting him down, and expelling him again. The stakes here aren't life or death.

At first I was with you guys entirely, and I found his attempts funny and slightly tragic like Wile E. Coyote's constant failure in capturing "The Road RUnner". Now I feel pity.

If he committed plagarism (the only serious crime to me regarding fandom) then have an admin send him a long and detailed e-mail explaining why what he did was wrong, remove any plagiarized stories that are still up, and let's move on. We demean ourselves by dedicating so much energy to an individual like this. I say we let him back, but with restrictions, and he's on probation (sp?) for a while.

I think it was more of the fact that Bloodmage was bothering a lot of people with his opinions. People are glad he was gone, because frankly, he was annoying everyone and just being a dick.

If someone felt horrible at what they did to get themselves banned, and they really wanted a second chance to redeem themselves, there is no way that they would act in the way Bloodmage was acting.

Chuck mercy and forgiveness are good for other people. But look at your status, you are a freaken Dark Lord!!! Don't pull the pity part pussy way out of realizing your ways are wrong. Embrace the dark, and live it up in glory!

I mean sure, if he was another guy, and rejoined not acting like an idiot, I would say let him stay. I mean honestly I was completely thrilled that he was gone, as were probably a bunch of others.

Quite frankly, his posts were useless and the only thing he did do right was get on peoples nerves. When one is going for forgiveness and trying to repent of their sins....they don't join back up under another name, and act like a freaken ass.

    -Void

P.S. No offence if this sounded like a rant against your post.

Aye, well, I didn't read his posts, so I can't say definitively, but unless someone does something REALLY offensive, or that I have very strong feelings about, I generally don't let it get under my skin.

Still, he's already gone, and he'll probably be banned if he tries again, so ...nothing to be done anyway.

Ah Chuck, you have a point, except for the fact that not only did he plagarize a fic, he kept it up after he was banned and made a public statement saying he was doing it to spite us.

    Fuck him.

You know what would be cool? Vash filming a movie of him employing the fabled 'banstick'.

It would be mighty fine entertainment =D.
