    The first episode aired tonight and from this first episode I think I can say this is the best show I have ever seen.

    The acting is all brilliantly done of course, but the sets and the whole immersion into Atlantic City in the 1920s is what did it for me; it felt as if I was there too.

    If you haven't seen this or wasn't planning on seeing it, I strongly recommend it!

    A little summary for those of us who don't know what the hell this is:

    It hasn't aired in my country yet (I think), but the trailers look good, and like Andromalius says, Scorcese is the director.

    EDIT: Scorcese directed the pilot and is the producer (or one of them). I'm not sure who will direct the rest of the series.

    You had me at Steve Buscemi. I haven't had the chance to watch the first episode but I've got it waiting on my hard drive. It looks freakin epic as hell.

    Ditto. Watched it last night and I'm in, looks awesome. Michael Pitt and Steve Buscemi playing gangsters... god damn.
