Sloth is viewing the thread. I'm going to be a nice guy and not cut him of if he is writing something (again), but I give him 40 min at most if nobody else is going to take responsibility that the hammer happens

 

Not much to reply to, and at this point speculation is giving me a headache until we lynch/vig people. We have very little new information coming in, so my reads are more or less stuck where they are until we have confirmation on where the targets stand.

Sorry if this one seems sloppy, btw. I’m writing it in a hurry as I’m heading out soon—as a note, I’ll check on my phone around 9:30, my time (meaning 30 minutes before Nightfall, going by Prophy’s clock), so if we happen to need a hammer then, I can do it.
Like Zennith says, unless there IS a hammer-lynch role (don’t remember the name, don’t have time to go searching for it, saint something), this proves nothing on my alignment one way or the other.

Riley, think about it: That’d only make sense in D1, where no one but the lynch would be at risk as far as anyone knew, since no one saw the DK coming.
By the end of D1, everyone should have done Last Will, because you never knew who the scum would hit.
Why didn’t you? That’s the most suspicious thing I’ve seen from you, in an otherwise derp!Townish play. Even if you were expecting not to die, why take that risk?

First, thanks for the replies, if nothing else, it’s thorough, going back to posts back on the 100’s.

About your question itself…I’m confused. Lucky has a DK?
Or do you mean the “Kill Sloth” on Lucky’s vig kill? What I meant there is that we were working as a group to decide the best target, narrowed it down to two main people, and your response seemed to be to ignore all of that and insist I be the one shot instead.
There’s sticking to your guns (I recognize it because I do it all the time—Riley’s doing it right now, for example, though I like to think I do it for more valid reasons), because you know you’re right, and there’s forcing what you want on others for no apparent reason. Didn’t seem Townie.
(To elaborate on “no apparent reason,” I mean that if you are going out of your way to derail what Town wants, you have to be 100% certain I should be lynched, and I like to think no one but scum should be 100% certain on my alignment at this point.)

But given your recent posts…seriously, not sure what to think. It seems like you sort of admitted that weren’t reading my other posts (and the posts of others), at least not too closely.
This raises some alarms because if you’re scum, it could be that you chose me as an easy target to tunnel and it didn’t work out your way so you skimmed through the parts that didn’t work for you and focused on the earlier parts of the game where I was finding my footing.

Which is as…vexing to read as it is interesting. It’s the first time I’ve been analyzed in any game though, so either way I thank you for it.

1. No, you’re right, I’m arrogant: I’m completely self-assured and confident in myself and my abilities, and I like to think it’s with justification.

2. This one…confused me at first, until I realized you weren’t talking about my games, but about my entire DLP history. …Odd choice, but I suppose it’s in-depth. Still, I don’t think it works for reason I go over in #4.

3. Not sure what ‘exaggerated’ means, though you’re apparently not the only one that thinks so.

4. Yep. Do people really think it isn’t? Btw, this is why 2 doesn’t work: I do have a “game-persona”. If you’ve seen me outside of games, you know I’m calm, casual, and apathetic about everything. By contrast, here I use passion and like to start aggressive in my hunting.
Using my normal attitude to judge my play doesn’t work.

In the end, some of the ways you use your reasoning seem like obvious mistakes you’d know not to do unless you were trying to beef up a weak case. Which goes hand in hand with my point above about weaker targets and what not.

Though I’m not comfortable saying you’re scum. If nothing else, no one being able to know what to think of me has been my intended play since Dresden.

But fine, mislynch me rather than let me walk away to wreak havoc. I can agree with that. We can see who the obvious target is tomorrow, and if need be, I’m fine with that being me.

…ok, there’s no point sitting on this since even if Lucky replies finally, I won’t be able to reply back in length, and given how much it’s been talked about, it doesn’t matter:

This is why I think Luckylee is probably scum:
He claimed Fonti gave him enough gold for 2 shots tonight. How much gold did she give him?

If the answer is more than 1, he’s scum: There’s no way in hell Fonti believed him to be so much more Town than Titus or Zennith, definitely not after his last posts, to give him more than any of them.

If the answer is 1, then his claims are very hard to believe: Lucky has a Night Vig ability which he can use as many times as he wants a night so long as he has the gold for it. 2 options:
-He had 1 gold before Fonti’s Will, meaning this already overpowered ability costs one freakin’ gold per use.
-He had 3 gold, now 4, meaning the ability costs 2 per use. Very unlikely, both because it would be a strange as hell way to distribute the gold from prophy, and because Riley has stated that Towns get 3 gold, which seems to indicate PRs don’t—and we know that Fonti had 4. I really doubt he had 3.

So…yeah. If he hits our targets, we’re good. But I’m concerned, and he wouldn’t have made a claim so easily disproven if he didn’t think it’d matter Tomorrow.
