This along with Mad Men is easily the best show on TV. Cranston and Paul just won Emmys for their performances in the last season. I'd highly recommend this show to everyone
3 seasons of 13 episodes are out if anyone is interested in catching up.

I watched the first three episodes, and all I can say is that it starts off slowly. I should probably continue on, since I've only ever heard good things about this series as a whole. It just didn't grab me from the get-go.

Same here I caught the first 3 or so and kinda just forgot about it. Not to say I disliked the show and I like Cranston well enough, it just didn't draw me in. I will give it another shot.

Trust me, you need to slog through the beginning to get to the amazing. It's a brilliant show.

For those of you are caught up through the end of S3:

I love the new supporting characters they brought in. Saul, Gustavo, and Mike are hilarious and the latter two deliciously badass! One problem I had with parts of S3 was how emasculated Walt became compared to prior seasons. He was reacting rather than acting in many respects. I'm glad that they fixed that with the force of a thousands suns by having Heisenberg come out in all his glory in the last few eps. The look on Mike's face when Walt told him what was going on was beautiful. Especially combined with Walt smugly saying "Yeah" with a little nod. I have no idea wtf is going to happen next season now that Gustavo both needs him more than anything and is threatened by him just the same. It's a shame because Gustavo and Walt had a nice relationship going on before Jesse got in between them. Then again, we later found out that that's a nice relationship involving the recruitment and murder of child drug drealers so I take the "it's a shame" comment back.

The show has at most another one or two seasons according to the guy in charge who believes that it's better for a show to end too early rather than too late. With Walt and Jesse in the big leagues now, dealing with a fucking drug kingpin rather than street level crooks, I can't wait to see how it'll end.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul's Emmys are extremely well fucking deserved.

I watched the first few episodes of this, way back when - while I wasn't too eager about hunting down more, I was really impressed by the show itself.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, but one of the few really fascinating shows out there. Tbh, after seeing this thread, I may go start watching it again.

Haven't seen it but based on how popular it is you just know that when they cant put off his death any more it will turn out to be *GASP* a misdiagnosis, and suddenly he will have to deal with the fact all his actions now have consequences.

I mean will they really kill off the main character in such a popular show?

There's a first time for everything, though with this type of show I just can't see it happening.

Without wanting to spoil it, the situation is dealt with perfectly in the show.

I can see the writers actually finishing the show with his death too to be honest. The timeline of the show is slightly different too, there's a few episodes that only cover an hour or so of the lives of the characters when in others, a few months have passed. It works perfectly, I'd suggest watching it and seeing how it plays out.

I fucking love this show. It is easily my favorite show right now. Unfortunately they changed the time of year it airs, so the fourth season won't start for about a year, but I'll wait patiently for it. Cranston really is brilliant in this.

Basically, the only thing I don't like about the show up to this point is the Fly episode. I'm pretty sure it is in the third season.

The Fly episode was one of the best in my opinion, Jesse showed just how good of an actor he really was in that one.

Can any other show dedicate 45 minutes to a single fly, in a single room and still keep every single watcher on the edge of their seat and avidly waiting to see what's going to happen next?

Fuck, the Fly episode was so heartbreaking! And suspenseful!

Walt's "that would've been the right time to die" being the former and my fear that he was going to blurt out his complicity in Jane's death being the latter.

It was an ep that had me laughing in the beginning, bored in the middle and completely floored by the end.

Same here. I was expecting season 4 to start in May. July seems like an eternity.

This is the best show on tv at the moment.

It wouldn't be such a bad wait if they didn't leave off on such a cliffhanger. Screw you fade to black then gunshot, screw you so much.

I am at season 2, episode 5. I like the show, it is just too damn fucking slow. At times I literally increase the speed while watching because I am getting bored. And it is still that slow that I don't feel any difference.

And someone said something about Emmy's? I still think Hall should have gotten one. :( But I am gonna wait till end of season 3 for final judgement I guess.

Middle of Season 2 was a little slow. A problem I don't think I'd have realized if I was watching an episode a week while they were showed instead of catching up on them later. 2nd season finishes strong and the third season is very well done.
