Walt will kill Gus and take over his drug empire. Calling it now.

Side note: Anyone else think that the guy who plays Gus could play Obama?

    Best show on television.

I thought Gus was just going to open a box. I was wrong.

Cranston was on Conan last night - it was awesome. He brought crystal meth candy for everyone.

    Can't unseen

I gotta go watch this now.

So, epic episode was epic. I really liked Gale though :/
I'm wondering what this week's will bring, especially with the lab notes shown in Gale's living room. Also wondering wtf Gus is going to do this season.

You have the attention span of a thirteen year old. This show is perfectly paced.

Also, Gus is the perfect villain. Completely called the scene he was in in this latest episode once he put on that suit, though. Not to say it was bad in any way, or ineffective, but it was quite obvious how it was going to turn out if you just thought about it. They did give you time to figure it out. :p

EDIT: Also, fuck Gale. He got on my nerves something serious.

    For DVD yeah.

I just watched the first episode and can already tell I'm in for some torture. The shows great but the pace will kill me if I have to watch on a week by week basis.

I was glad to see Walter scared out of his fucking mind, especially when the guy got the aluminium. Lol at the white guy begging the Mexican to give him work. But I was glad, too many protagonist always have a smart-ass comment ready, whether they should or not. Walter's a fucking chemist, I glad he acts like one. I love how the promos made it seem like he was ripping Gus a new one when in reality he was shitting himself.

Fucking Gus... That was perhaps the most brutal example of the Blofeld Ploy ever. And all because the poor guy got seen. He could have used him as a back-up if shit hit the fan.

Jesse... Jesse's had so much shit thrown at him I think he's just done. That scene at the diner :)

...Gus isn't a Mexican, either in real life or in the show. *stare*

Jesse ain't done. Jesse knows how to handle shit more than Walt right now. After all, Jesse lost literally everything important to him already, so he knows how to navigate in a situation where everything is so wrong that it's hard to even process. In fact, I'd say that he's in better shape than Walt right now, given that the ability to pull shit that relies on smoke and mirrors (which is essentially how Walt, Jesse, *and* Gus operate) relies on confidence more often than not.
And I /really, really/ fucking hate you for using goddamn TVTropes terminology. This isn't fucking TVTropes, if you're too fucking stupid to flick your eyes upwards and check the URL. That site is fucking terrible and I will hate it forever because people constantly fucking reference it, usually in a way that's wrong, instead of just saying what the fuck they mean.

Also, yes, Gus had a damn good reason to kill that fucker: He got seen. That means that he could be connected to the killing, and he could probably be traced back to Gus, especially if he was facing a prison sentence if he didn't talk. Gus is both exceptionally careful and very smart. It wouldn't make sense if he didn't off that guy. Furthermore, while Walt may have been genuinely scared, the fact is that no other way of approaching the situation would have worked. A smartass reply would have gotten him killed, given the circumstances.

I'm pretty sure he works for a cartel in Mexico, or if not is a supplier for them with a bit of autonomy. Am I crazy here?

Yes. You are. He worked /alongside/ a cartel in Mexico until he fucked them over and got the Feds to wipe them out for him last season.

Oh, I thought he did it so he could move up the ranks and get exclusive shipping rights. *shrug. Been a while I guess.

I meant he's gone through so much shit he's just kinda shut down and lost that... idk suburban gangster way he had about him is just gone. Basically he's just firmed up, ready for anything. As evidenced by his ever growing balls. It was pretty obvious by just the way he carried himself throughout the whole Gus scene. Not a new thing but I still notice it.

Thoughts on the latest episode (in spoiler tags, since you lot seem to use them):

Jesse's choice of music, and the party scene were funny. Jesse using drugs....not so funny. Quite disappointing, really. I liked the visual of the roomba's POV, though Jesse should have told that dude to leave his shit alone.

Walt practicing his draw was expected, and provided a nice contrast to the Jesse scenes.
Every time that Walt sticks it in his pants, though, I half expect him to shoot himself in the crotch. >.>

Every scene that Jesse has with children tends to be really heartrending to me, and they add a bit of likeabilty to his character, which has been missing lately, I feel. The scene where Brock waves from the car made me tear up. :/

WTF is up with Hank's mineral obsession?

    Mike is a badass.

The last scene with Jesse was very sad; you can just feel his loneliness. I actually really feel bad for the guy.

In conclusion, not much happened during this episode, though it was interesting as always. Not every episode can make your heart race....I expect the next episode to pick up in pace a bit. Still nothing about that notebook in Gale's apartment.

Good few points there, Jesse was already dealing with a bunch of shit and on top of that he just killed somebody to protect himself and Walt, and to make matters worse he has very few friends in the world. Poor guy is going to blow up soon. I like how Walt is getting more and more corrupted as each episode passes.

WTF is with thie rock mineral's ? In general I care very little about Hank, annoying character, but the mineral thing is confusing enough to warrant interest.

    My thoughts on episode 3.

Skyler pisses me off a lot sometimes.

Marie, on the other hand, is interesting. We haven't seen a huge amount of her, and watching her lie to person after person is fun. Stealing a picture, though, WTF?

The scene with Jesse riding the go cart was chilling. That background music ++ Then, the segue into what's happening at his house. Best part of the episode, IMO. The end, where Jesse throws the money in the air was great too. Quite funny, though I'm wondering when the shit will hit the fan in regards to Jesse's plot line.

Glad that Hank looked at the lab notes at the end of the episode, as now I have some ideas as to what will happen this Sunday.

Yet another slow episode, but ohhhh, when it gets intense, it will be fucking CRAZY. I have faith.

"Since when do vegans eat fried chicken?"

Hank's sheer conviction when saying that line is what makes it hilarious.
