Thought it was a great ending that left me satisfied with everything. Like the creator said on Talking Bad, the show ended with Walt having accomplished exactly what he set out to do in the first episode. Also got to be a badass multiple times in the episode which was nice to see.

Don't know if it was intentional, but I thought it was interesting that Jesse killing Todd was done in pretty much the same way Walt killed Krazy 8 in the third episode - arguably the first time Walt showed how ruthless he could be.

The ending was...satisfying. Not the show's best moment, but it wasn't bad. Wish they would have shown more of the outcome (Skylar / Walt Jr's reaction, maybe Jesse adopting Brock or something)

Yeah. Satisfying is the word for this one, I think.

With that said, we all wanted to see the fallout from this. Walt made his mark on the world and to see him from the outside would be immensely satisfying. I'd liken this to a guilty pleasure, though one that I want badly. Strangely, I still managed to feel sorry for Walt throughout all of this. It's pretty impressive that Cranston can summon both vile condemnation and sympathy.

Great show. It will be missed. Breaking Bad 2014.

The one thing I will always be curious about is when exactly did Walt decide that he'd let Jesse live, when he decided to forgive Jesse.

Did Talking Bad go over that?

Probably when he saw him in chains and beaten/scarred. When he realised Jessie was cooking again he sounded pissed.

Pretty sure Jimmey Kimmel said when Walt realized Jesse wasn't cooking because he wanted to.

But when was that? You could say it was when he saw Jesse in chains, or it could have been when he found out that Jesse's friends had no idea he was still in town. Or simply knew the gang wouldn't partner up when they could simply take what they want, like they did to Walt'd money.

Did Walt ever believe Jesse was benefiting from the arrangement or was it simply a ploy for time as he gets a hold of his keys?

"I did it for myself. I liked it. I was good at it. It made me feel alive."

I was so fucking happy when Walt said this.

There was pretty much no way that a gang of psychotic neo nazis would enter into a willing, trusting partnership with a rat who they captured after he betrayed both Walt and them. A rat whose mess they had to clean up by murdering federal agents. A rat that saw this.

Especially not that particular neo nazi guy. And Todd...fucking Todd. That bastard is not about fun and friendship, except for Walter, who he has a hard on for.

Todd was seriously the most fucked up character in the series. And my new favorite name for him is Meth Damon. D:

Anyway, marathoned the last season yesterday. Felina wasn't the best episode of the series, but yeah, it was satisfying.

I wanted so bad for Jesse to be the one who finishes off Walt, but the show managed to top that by Jesse just saying fuck you to Walt in the end and denying him even that.

Todd was fascinating. There was something childlike about his sociopathy. "Sorry for your loss", "it's nothing personal" those are things kids think they should say when they're bad but don't actually mean. And giving Jesse a "reward" for a good cook. Yeesh

And his man-love for Walt was hilarious. He's the one who convinced his uncle to let Walt go, and he refused to kill Sky because "he has a lot of respect for your husband".

I'm not sure how to reconcile his love for the guy with his complete sociopath behavior otherwise. Also, his attraction to Lydia which was...strange.

He might be a dead-eyed, emotionally crippled fuck, but he's an interesting dead-eyed,emotionally cripped fuck.

I don't think the attraction to Lydia was strange at all. There's something very attractive about her... that combination of strength and weakness. She's a complete alpha-bitch: she's willing to put out hits on people with little provocation, she's obsessive about getting things just the way she wants them, she's always very careful about her appearance and dresses with just the right balance of sexiness and "I'm a professional woman don't fuck with me" to make her look unattainable. But at the same time, she's completely fraying at the edges: she's nervous, somewhat paranoid, acting irrationally. She's willing to order violence but can't stand to be confronted with it. She'll make demands but stand up to her and she'll fold.
