I actually just switched Gmail accounts. Before that it was an old AOL account, but the update there was just that I stopped using AOL.

No luck finding where the messages stopped coming regularly. Nothing is showing up in the spam folder either.

I do get updates from other threads, but it only seems to work if I go visit the thread that day. After I visit I'll get an update, then it stops again. I have this WBA thread set to instant update, but I've gotten maybe 5 updates total since I sub'd to it, and it's progressed about 4 pages since then.

And no email from any of the PM's you've sent me.

tbh, I wouldn't mind switching to my gmail account. I'm trying to shift all the important stuff off that hotmail account anyways. I've had it for a decade and it gets inundated with crap.

First thing I see when I go to that thread.

Goddamnit yak. Sub'd. Try not to blind me.

I should've checked this first. Go here: https://forums.darklordpotter.net/profile.php?do=editoptions

Was Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages already ticked?

Have you ever received a PM notice in your email that you can remember?

Gmail is probably a good fit. I've been happy with it.

Lololol. It's nothing you haven't seen before. :p

    Just to update:

I sent Minhoto 5 PMs within 30 seconds of each other and they all arrived as emails. He also received update alerts for the WTF Image thread.

So, this might be fixed. Maybe Raven did some behind the scenes mojo to grease the email wheels. Looks good.

I'm currently suffering from this, and seem to have been doing so for the last 24 hours. No emails from DLP anywhere in my system, junk or not.

    Last email I got was
I've checked my account options, and it all seems like I should be getting emails for new posts. I'm currently using an @hotmail.co.uk address, and check it online through outlook.com.

I haven't forgotten about this -- I'm still investigating when I get time.

Ultimately it might come down to a vB upgrade, the mail server has been removed from potential issues.

I have not received alerts for the Naruto manga thread 2 of Bleach manga thread. I double checked with Gmail since they are a pain in the ass but it looks like the alert never went out from your end.

Through our new email provider, we have excessively good tracking around all of our email outbound (as well as better deliverability). I'll be able to track this issue much more closely. Let me know if ya'll still see issues.

One thing to keep in mind is that you won't receive email notifications for a thread if you've already received one and haven't looked at the thread.

That's a good change. Having to look at the thread vs. any DLP page will stop me from receiving updates to threads that I don't care about but haven't unsubbed from yet. That'll cut down on a lot of email traffic I'm guessing.

It isn't a change, I believe that's how it's always worked. Perhaps it's any DLP page, just wanted to bring that up as how emails might not be getting sent.

Either way, it's transactional email now which I can use to search for issues.
