Alright, thanks everybody. I'll probably wait a few more days and see if anybody spots anything completely wrong and then I'll place an order for the parts. Thanks again guys.

Edit: A quick question, do you guys think that getting the insurance on the parts is worth it?

Insurance as in postal insurance or home contents insurance?

Postal insurance - depending on how much it costs.

Home contents insurance - not really as you live in a dorm it would cost a stupid amount for a student.

To use beyond 4gb of RAM XP or Vista have to be 64bit, not 32 bit. 32bit can address up to 4gb of total system memory which includes video card memory and other devices which have onboard memory.

I am dual booting XP and Vista Home Premium(Came with my laptop :( ) I can say that the 4gn upgrade was worth it as I will install a 64bit version of XP shortly once I get everything shorted, as I can and will use all of that 4gb of RAM.

G.Skill are one step above generic RAM, providing some decent RAM for an excellent price. If timings aren't really that important to you, generic RAM will perform within a range where no one person can tell the difference. It's only noticeable in benchmarks and in overclocking. In reality, the average person doesn't need nor will notice the difference between using DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 compared to DDR2 667 5-5-5-15.

Tuniq are a major brand in CPU heatsink cooling. The Tuniq tower 120 goes fairly good for the price, as the two other heatsinks I would recommend aren't on newegg.

I run a dual boot of XP and Ubuntu on my desktop. I only did it so I could really learn how to use Linux and have a stable fast OS for stuff like browsing the net, watching movies etc upon a whim and not have to boot up my XP version which had just suffered a major virus hit which was still in a state of having to manually load several things just to get to the desktop.

Everything looks good. You might be able to find the 4870 for a bit cheaper. I'd also suggest going with the GB DS3R or the Asus P4Q pro if you plan on overclocking. If not, then what you have is fine.

Looks pretty sweet, elvin. You considered getting a card reader? They're not too expensive and damn useful imo.

What exactly does it do, from the descriptions I've been able to find it seems to be somewhat like a flash drive. I don't think I've found a good description however.

A Card Reader reads memory cards from things like digital camera's, phones etc.

I pay an idiot savant called Andrew to do mine, PC and Laptop. He can pull a computer into absolute pieces and have it all back in perfect working order like brand new, complete with loads of extras. He can't even read or write.
