Kushina has the potential to be one of the strongest charactars in the series. Unfortually she is a woman in a series written by Kishimoto. With DLP at the helm it could be really interesting to see where she ends up.

 

You know what...Kushina was always my second choice, but I think that convinced me.

If we fail to choose her, playing Kakashi would be more preferable than Orochimaru for me, thus leaving me conflicted on the fact that I'm voting for a seemingly less popular version, giving a better chance for Orochimaru than I'd like to give.

 

Meh, I only quickly glanced through - but I think with my vote removed Orochimaru falls behind Kakashi.

Besides, I think Kushina is a solid compromise option. Far back enough to have a bit of fun in the pre-third war period, suitably badass but in need of an Kishi-free plot, and someone most quests/fics don't usually explore.

 

I started from when I put the vote in, since before that people were mostly just suggesting random things and some voted again afterwards.

I think Kakashi is probably gonna be it, I've got some nice ideas on where to go with that one. A bunch of secondary options also had him.

If it was between Kakashi and Kushina, I'd choose Kakashi any day. Now we can make sure to destroy Obito's body so his secrets don't get out... I mean so we can make him not rely on magic eye hax.

Making Kakashi live up to his hype is far more interesting to me then playing jinchuuriki.

[X] Hatake Kakashi. I think he's a decent balance between the options, with enough potential that in capable hands, could (re)tell a very strong story.
