Yeah well done on your exam, hope to read more of your stories soon, I really enjoy both of them. They are some of the few good stories around these days

Thanks for all the well wishes. I've just gotten started on chapter 19 of the other story. It is slow going, but mostly due to time constraints. Chapter 8 of this one will probably get rolling by the end of the weekend. In this story, expect more cursebreaking, more training, a skirmish and perhaps a dragon.

Then for the weekend, Harry gets to figure out what he is going to do about Karina?

Holy... how did I miss this gem before? I must say, this is one kickass story. I'm not sure why I didn't like it before - maybe because at first the second-person perspective was a bit jarring and hard to get used to. But as the story continued, it was hard to imagine the story otherwise.

    Yeah Bitj!

You can see a tease of chapter 8 in the work by author section. The rest of the chapter should be completed by the weekend. Thanks for the compliments.

    Chapter 8 is Posted!

Here it is for your reading pleasure and platonic love! I had a pretty good time writing that chapter. Vanna gets a special credit for helping make this story a tad more amusing. I hope you like more of the mechanics of runes and cursebreaking. I must admit I was pretty tough on poor Hermione this time, but she probably deserves it. I am sure the people at Portkey are looking for things to make voodoo dolls out of. Next chapter I give you the magical game sweeping North and South America - Dodgespell!

    Enjoy,
    Jim

Awesome job! I loved this chapter. Great mix of warding mechanics (love the technical stuff) and adrenaline-packed action. I look forward to the next chaper!

This fic is awesome, the second POV is very interesting, I've never seen it done so well.

Is this fic posted somewhere else?
FF.net is giving me a hard time accessing the new chapter.

Edit: NVM, I finally figured out why FF.net didn't like me.
    Hilarious chapter. Congrats.

Thanks for the early kudos. I also post on ficwad.com. It's a really nice site that deserves more traffic than it gets.

Great chapter! I loved it. I have no complaints.

There were plenty of funny parts, a couple great action scenes and a little bit of magical theory. What more could I ask for?

Keep it up and update soon.

P.S. I'm really looking forward to "Dodgespell." With your creativity, it's promising to be awesome.

Good chapter. I also liked the technical stuff (as said before I am an Engineer so I really like technical stuff especially when it is written in a believable fashion.) Good job with the whole Dragon scene, it was again believable and fun to read. I really your sarcastic version of Harry, you have developed him into a teenager who isn’t the “Oh! woe is me” crap that seems to in a lot of fanfiction out there but one who realizes that he has to grow up because the real world isn’t the ideal place. I did sense a potential major red flag that maybe Bill is/has overlooked when his loving mum wrote in the book “I hope you are in regular contact with Fleur, such a nice young lady. I am beginning to wonder if she might be the one you have been looking for. Everyone else sends their love. ” Am I reading too much into this or should Bill have that cold feeling in his stomach that most people get before the $#it really hits the fan.

Can’t wait until Dodgespell comes out. I was one of those weird kids who actually loved dodgeball in grade school.

Brilliant chapter, its nice to see magic having a technical side rather than it simply doing whatever Harry wants it to do with no skill needed. Entertaining contrast between the Hogwarts stuff and the real runes it shows that Harry is actually learning, dragon was entertaining as well, although does this mean that there is now an animated dragon running around the forest or is it restricted to the local area?

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Wonderful chapter. I still don't think I could be as cool as Harry is about what they (Hermione and Ginny) were doing to him. I know I would have probably set the house on fire on my way out or something.

I like the cursebreaking. I could really picture everything that was happening, which is something I usually have problems with in action scenes.

    Looking forward to more.
