    The reason I assumed that the guy would be joining the team was that after the credits he was in the preview for the next episode and it appeared that they were shaking hands and smiling.

    Eh, and by "just started" earlier I meant within the week ;)

    Anyone still watching?

    Jesse slotted in pretty well, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Could have done without the Jesse/Fiona stuff though, it didn't really work for me

    I liked the 'finale', the whole Michael/Jesse/Bible thing is hotting up a little. Just a shame about the midseason break now.

    Pretty much all of us rabidly. Awesome finale, but I could of done without the client. It took away from the tension and felt like it was just a throwaway of what could of been a whole episode itself.

    So... I just caught the summer finale. Thoughts?

    I really really enjoyed it too be honest. It was a good episode, definitely up to par with all the other 'cliffhanger' episodes'.

    However, perhaps the greatest thing ever happened:
    Larry is Dead. Fucking finally. Hated that guy.

    The new bad guy... he could be really really good. I love the whole
    psychiatrist
    angle. Definitely gives for some awesome possibilities.

    The only real question is, what's the overall goal of the show now? Up until the last season, the whole angle has been Michael working to get out of his Burn Notice. Now that's happened, what's the next main punchline. That's what I'm interested in finding out.

    On, on a side note. I love Agent Pierce. I think she's my favorite female character of the series so far. Lara was not to bad. Fi is decent. Pierce really does a good job though I think.

    Definitely don't think he got away.

    It'd be a huge stretch considering exactly what happened.

    Good way for him to go as well. Very... bitter victory, considering the revelations at the end.

    Season 5 finished yesterday. I was really let down by the ending. I guess it'll make the next season interesting though.

    Agreed. Most disappointed in both the ending, and the overall episode compared with previous finales (both fall and summer varieties). The rest of the season had been pretty good throughout, so this is all the more disappointing.
