Are you sure you didn't mean to put this in the "Awesomely bad Fanfictions" thread?

It wasn't strictly bad, but not even the Necronomicon excuses this:

Also, I'm not impressed with the premise. I know Harry finding the Necronomicon hasn't been done before, or HP/Lovecraft in general, but when I considered a crossover, the Necronomicon was what immediately came to mind. It's like something you know has the makings of a cliche, but no one has actually done it, until now.

I was disappointed by the lack of chainsaws. And boomsticks.

    That's the Necronomicon Ex Mortis

    This is the Necronomicon.

The name is close, but its not the same book.

Well, I suppose it isn't bad enough for the ABF thread, but I really just don't like it.

    This isn't even vaguely Lovecraftian.
I hate it when idiots fail at Lovecraft Mythos.

Not something I could associate with the Cthulhu Mythos at all. No hint of mystery, no suspense, no drama. Pretty dull if you ask me. All he did was have Harry summon Cthulhu at the very end, which was also breaking canon as R'lyeh is somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, not the centre of London.

Still, it was well written and it could have been worse. I'll give it an even 3/5, cause the premise was vaguely original.
