Out of the girls who could possibly end up with Harry in cannon, the "romance" (a word I abuse in this context) in book 6 not withstanding, who would you see as the most likly match for the boy who lived?

 

I would still say Cho Chang. Whatever Rowling did, a reconciliation is still within reason, though it won't happen. But basically, what you're essentially asking is for us to choose among Ginslut, Mudblood and Loony since they're the only really feasible 'canon' pairings now. And I will reply that I'd rather see Harry become a eunuch and retire into a monastery than be with any of them.

 

If its between the three sera mentioned...it gonna be luna.

 

With the way it was written I'd pick Fleur. Maybe have her very grateful Harry saved Gabby, and somehow Harry's immune to the Veela stuff.

Yes cliche as hell, but I can't stand 2 of the 3 obvious choices as Sera mentioned, and as much as I like variants of fanon Luna, canon Luna is a damned dreamy basketcase.

Then again canon Harry's a huge wuss, so maybe Draco and all those years really were sexual tension. I seem to remember a thread that showed much more obession towards him and Bella then damned Ginny in any case

 

The way I see it, Harry will be hit with a testicle-exploding curse sent by Voldemort just before he snuffs it, there-by eliminating the need for a romantic involvement with anyone.

 

Luna will be the most wise choice for pairing in canon.

But than again JKR could always say the hell with it and fool us all and pair him up with someone like Susan or even Daphene Greengrass for all intents purposes. with the way book 5 and than with book 6 were writtin i wouldn't put it past her to do something like that and say the hell with it.

 

As long as there is a genuine reason for the paring, and I don't mean a monster in his chest, then I can see Harry with anyone. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he gets into an arranged marriage due to commitments to the Potter family. That’s way more believable than above mentioned 'monster'.

 

Might be possible although, I doubt it; if the Potter family had the habit of ussing arranged marriage, I doubt that James would have ended with Lily (Muggle-born).

If it happens, I fear who would be the "lucky" girl. She most likely be:
1. From a Light Family
2. at least one magical parent
3. her parents may have been in the Order

So the choice are:

Susan Bones (her uncle was a member in the 70s don't know about her parents)
Tonks(her mother married a Muggle-born and might have been a member) altough i doubt it after HBP
Red-Head Whore: unfortunately the most seriousrunner-up in case of an arranged marriage

There might be more but we don't know a lot about order's member of James' Generation

 

my pair of choice would be Katie Bell (never really seen it done before), Susan, Fleur, or pre-ootp cho..

 

For an arranged marriage,they have to be well known in the high society,and comes from an old pureblood family.You can't just have an marriage contract for no reason,an example is both families wants to unite into one powerful family,an allliance between families,A family debt.That's my view on Arranged marriage.

If not that, I am a Harry/Luna Shipper

I honestly think that they would round him out well.

 

harry/hermione is good as long as it isnt like "PS Harry a witch with the initials of HJG will be very important to you i dont know why love, Lily"
or some garbage like that.
Harry/Luna can be interesting but favorite possible canon ship would probably be iono its like picking which piece of shit is better. in the end they are all shit.

 

Even thought I would read any ship (as long as its good writing) I'm partial to the less common pairings. Like Harry/Susan, Harry/Padma etc.

 

my money's on harry/romilda.

what? romilda is younger than harry by a year or two. wasn't she in 4th year in HBP?

 

I believe Romilda is a seventh year.I can be wrong since I skipped most of the book cause of the Hp/Ginny pairing.I can't reread the book sine I gave it away to my little niece.So check it up to see.
