I haven't been following this at all, but Iron Man+Vision+War Machine should absolutely shit on Cap+Bucky+Scarlet Witch, no? Like, that's not even reasonable.

Who the hell knows. First trailer showed Cap and Bucky knocking Stark around pretty good and Cap has the shield which we know shits on Tony's death lazers and Bucky has an arm which is pretty much like an Iron Man armor piece given that it can shatter concrete. If supersoldats use ambush tactics, they could be more than a match for an Iron Man suit.

As for the wizards (The Vision and Scarlet Witch) we don't know their limits, though Vision does seem like he has more to offer because he has an Infinity Stone and he's just as tough as Thor/Iron Man, so between them it could be "first strike wins". But there are also morals to consider.

In any case, I'm on #TeamStark. Iron Man FTW.

Is she the chick left (ugh, I mean his left) of Hawkeye? I thought it was a really bad representation of Scarlet Witch.

Yep. In the comics, she's Peggy Carter's niece, but as far as I know they've not commented on that thus far in the MCU.

As for team vs team, it's probably going to depend on how powerful Scarlet Witch is now she's a bit more trained. In the comics, she's an extremely powerful reality warper, so could conceivably balance out the seemingly more powerful Team Stark. We'll see. Also, unless they come up with something pretty compelling for her, given her friendship with Steve in Winter Soldier I wouldn't be surprised to find that Black Widow is a double agent on Team Stark.

 

Yes and yes. She's in a fair amount of the promo stuff... but given that she's only a bit part in WS, I didn't give it more credence than producer shenanigans. "Emily VanCamp is hot. Let's put in some shots of Emily VanCamp."

 

Scarlet Witch, depending on who's writing her and what series you're reading, can be immensely powerful. Like, able to resist the Phoenix Force to a degree, able to re-shape the universe, and able to resurrect people powerful. Now, without them having really defined how powerful the infinity gems are on their own, we have no idea how powerful Vision is either, seeing he's powered by one, but in the trailer she appears to be holding her own against him for the moment we see it.

Makes you wonder how they'll run Infinity war though - they always have trouble defining how powerful some of these god-level beings and objects are , and they haven't even come close to anything like the Infinity Gauntlet was in the comics. After how badly they screwed the pooch with Phoenix in the original X-men movies, it worries me how they'll handle it.

Spiderman's suit looked fine. People have always (always) bitched about Spiderman's suits whenever a new iteration pops up.

 

As one of the seven people who quite loved the Amazing Spiderman movies (and more specifically Garfield's Spiderman), I quite liked that suit.

As Warlocke said though, I doubt that's the finished product.

 

Underoos: Underwear, basically.

And here I was hoping that Spiderman would show up in the suit that Tony crafted for him -





From what I recall of the comic storyline back a few years ago when I read it, I think I'm pretty firmly on Captain America's side. We'll see how they edit things for the movie, though.
