Bones is a pretty fucking shit show. Thats why its unfun.

Well, ok. Maybe a bit harsh, but yeah, Bones has NOTHING on Castle, nothing at all.

 

Finally watched this week's episode. It was as stated above, pretty damn awesome.

As for the Castle/Beckett relationship, it's a fine fine line. The sexual tension is fun, but I actually got into the show for the mix of drama/humor and watching the characters interact with one another as they burn through suspects. Oddly enough though, I think the show could work with Castle and Beckett as a couple as long as the show continued its humorous tone.

I just really want don't want the show to go the way of Chuck, which is much angst between the male and female leads as past crushes and lovers continually pop up.

 

Last night's episode proved my point from the above post to me. There was next to no romance/sexual tension, but the episode still kicked ass. The show works simply because of the banter between the detectives and the wacky twists and turns to catch their suspect.

 

Is this still airing? I haven't seen a new episode in the last two weeks. Episode 14 was the last.

 

I'm watching a brand new episode....right now. Perhaps you heathen kiwi's get a different airing schedule than us Americans.

 

Uh, no, this doesn't air here. I don't even think the first season has aired here yet.

I get the episodes from alternate sources. :/ Just haven't been uploaded yet, I guess.

 

They seem to be mixing in a couple of the more popular old episodes with new ones now. Two weeks ago was old, then a new one, now this week's was an older one again. Not sure what next week's will be since I didn't watch Monday.

 

Ah, gotcha. That makes sense, I was wondering about the erratic airing schedule. Apparently the last episode of this 24 episode season is meant to air in May I think?

Also, has this been renewed for a third season yet?

Yes, and holy fucking hell yes.

Some cool stuff - Dana Delany was pretty great, and many laughs were had with the scenes in Beckett's apartment, that's for sure.

Can't wait for next week - still really digging this show.

I have to agree with you , this week was even better then one with the murderer of Beckett's mum, "Sucker Punch" I think.

 

I feel no shame in admitting that I have a man-crush on Nathan Fillion. First Firefly, then DHSAB, and now Castle. Want moar!
