Not bad, but it fits with the pattern the show has developed. Every season finale we get a hint of Castle/Beckett, and every season opener we get a let down of sorts. At this point I think the show could actually afford to put them together, a change in the dynamic is needed.

I still maintain that Castle should have been the one to get shot in the finale. For once Beckett needs to see Castle in mortal fucking peril and realize that she needs him for a a change.

Also, he's had that murder board in his office for quite a while.

 

Couldn't agree more with the Doc. And yes, the techmurdboard has been there sense season 1 but now the subject matter has shifted.

Likewise- I just really want to see Castle spend a summer bleeding out or somesuch. We all know Castle and Becket got it bad for each other, but Becket is the one with a wall not Castle. Hence why we need a sledge hammer of an even to break through it (i.e. Castle getting shot, preferably by 3XK I think). I'm just repeating myself now but still. It's frustrating.

 

Do what they must... but I hope Castles Daughter remains the epitome of awesome. I would hate her to become to dramatic.

She is there to give us hope that a teenage girl can be both hot and not a whore. I'm sure DLP above all other groups supports this.

Goddamn awesome stuff. Except for the ex-boyfriend write-off. Pretty meh, but it made sense in the wake of the ending.

 

Awesome Castle episode is awesome.

Also the new murder board for Castle is pure win.

 

Sherri-effing-Palmer is the new captain? Ugh, I'll admit she can play a psychotic, manipulative bitch extremely well, but she's painful to watch.

Fairly good season opener. Glad that the writers didn't take the easy way out - Kate not remembering. But who actually expected them to be together in this episode? That'll happen late this season. /calling it.

 

Get together in a flare of classic alcohal/just solved a case/emotional trauma one night stand way. But won't be together together... even though they so totally like like each other duh.

 

Episode was decent, if only for the comic references.

With every new episode I'm becoming happier that Alexis is going off to college. It seems as though she no longer has a real role to play in the show, other than a few minutes of her being a stroppy little cunt only to realize that Castle was right at the very end of the show.

Episode was good overall, it was just pure castle really. Amusing twists as well.

 

Indeed. The only decent teenage character in all of television. Now she's just a brat.

 

Today's episode... Wow. I loved it.

 

I like this whole, working behind the boss genre. It gives them a constant adversary. Even though she may be a good guy, her continuous antagonism as the New Capt. allows me to feel frustrated on the A teams behalf.

Also really good episode. Ryan and (Insert spanish sounding name here) are a great buddy cop pair. They really deserve a episode to themselves.

Though I think this won't be the last we see of LA bound Asian kid.

Yeah- good episode. I like the tie to 3XK without actually being 3XK.

The actual plot was a bit on the weak side - the story was good but lacked ... establishment? Motivation? The character interactions, on the other hand, were amazing.

 

This was a great episode. First one in a while that had actually some kind of suspense, and Kate was fucking boss when she threatened the guy.

 

Great episode. Only thing lacking for me (as this Castle, so expecting much in the plot department is futile at this point) was the capture at the end. Unsatisfying.

Good to see that even in its fourth year, Castle still entertains.

 

I'm really starting to love this show again. Alexis has definitely become markedly less annoying again. Nice to see that was temporary.

The plot of the episode however was very interesting, and managed to keep itself at least reasonably tight, with only a few things seeming a bit ridiculous.

Remains one of my favorite shows.

 

As long as I get one "Let's look deeply into each other's eyes and think really hard about how we feel about each other" looks an episode, I'll be satisfied.

And the caveat that Beckett doesn't start wearing too many jackets with padded shoulders... weirdly man like.
