Well her family did get offed at some point didn't they? Her brothers I mean, that would be motivation enough to learn especially if she was terrified of her own family finishing up in a similar state. And if Fabian and the other one were good enough to be considered some of the top wizards in the order (I think that's what Moody says) then there's no reason to assume Molly wouldn't be just as capable.
