    Any way to spectate this without the Civ5 client? I've been on the fence abut this game after the demo I got for free was singularly unimpressive.

    Does anyone know if G&K fixed civ 5's multiplayer problem that slowed down large maps(with few city states) to a crawl? After a couple hours in?

    No. Just earlier I was playing a game with my brother, large map, it was fine up until late game when it slowed down a lot, but still playable. However once I researched satellites I would disconnect, nothing could fix it.
