Anyone know of high quality code geass stories? I have trouble finding them amid the flood of fangirl obsessions about homosexuality. I don't care about anything except quality, excluding slash of course. No slash. Thanks.

I went on a little Code Geass stint, and sadly this is the only story that I thought was good enough to read. Good luck on finding something good. I failed.

As you'll no doubt discover, the four listed so far are pretty much the only ones that either A) Do not suck, or B) Do not include slash.

...Though I'm pretty sure B just ties into A.

Of course, then there also is http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4505096/1/Code_Geass_Knight_of_Revolution
It's decent, but after a couple chapters it starts reading like a Gundam SEED fic, and I don't mean the good kind.

If anyone else has any Code Geass recs, please post them. We need more awesomeness that isn't the fangirl equivalent of throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks.

The Chess Match - a Code Geass/Death Note crossover. It's pretty awesome, sadly the updates are rare.

Light's too into himself to love anybody else.

Lelouch was way too busy most of the series to worry overly much about romance. Still the instances when it happened it was all with women, and he never showed any inclinations of batting for the other team.

Not that logic matters much to yaoi fangirls...

    The series begs to differ.

    Clamp only did the art.

Yes, and they're known for designing bishonen characters common with slash. They also did the artbooks, some of which contained sexually ambiguous poses with Lelouch and Suzaku among others.

So yeah, blame CLAMP, for the most part at least. They're influence is clear throughout the series.

Please, while they didn't help, there were too many instances that could be taken as wrong with the plot itself between Lelouch and Suzuka.

We just choose to ignore that fact and imagine instead that Lelouch and C.C. are bumping uglies in private.

Or that Lelouch set aside such things in pursuit of his ultimate goal? Is it just me or do slashers blatantly ignore aspects of a character's personality just so they can imagine buttsex into it?

Jesus, what went on between Lelouch and Suzaku easily fits into the story of two brothers separated by war, and considering their back story, is the much more likely candidate.

    It's because slashers are shippers.

But because slashers tend to be yaoi fangirls, which are inhuman, they are inhuman shippers.

Just stand back and try to imagine that.

    Inhuman shippers.

I'm pretty sure anyone on this forum is far too savvy for that to not be a rhetorical question.

Heh, good point. Also, your avatar is of Rorschach (since I've been running for office of Captain Obvious lately :p)
