I think one of two things will happen concerning Rollo. Lelouch is going to develop a brotherly soft spot for Rollo and then Rollo will die sacrificing himself to save Lelouch. Or, they will get Nunally back and he will become jealous and try to kill her resulting in Lelouch killing him as he had out lived his usefulness.

 

Hm...is it really that good? I was on some anime forums yesterday and they were raving about the 2nd season and how they hoped it was better than the first. And they spoiled the hell out of me without warning the bastards >_<.

I watched the series on YouTube, but that was before Season 1 started in the US...The subs are really so much better its not even funny. I've since downloaded every episode, and I think they've been removed from YouTube.

 

They're still on megavideo, much better quality than youtube.

I usually use megaupload too. Happy Hour Premium every night at 9:00 is great. I have downloaded tons on anime that way, and I constantly have to decide what to keep and what to get rid of. Right now I have:

Gundam 00 Season 1 (Complete)
Gundam Wing (Complete)
Death Note (Complete)
Fullmetal Alchemist (Complete)
Detective Conan (I have a lot, but not all 501 episodes. The folder is 23.4 GB)

I'll be asking my parents if I can get a DVD Recorder for my birthday, so I can burn all these to DVD's. Well now that I've proved my anime obession...yeah megaupload all the way...

About episode 4...I loved it, especially the part where Lelouch uses the shield as a snowboard and bounces of Guilford's head. I loled. I also love Lelouch's speeches. They're the best. I'm interested to see how the thing with Rollo plays out, but I have one problem. Why are there so many damn insane people on this show? Suzaku, Nina, and now Rollo. It's freaky.

 

OH YAH Suzaku is teh infiltrat0rz. I think Suzaku is still trying to overthrow Brittania from the inside, the emperor probably already knows and is using him. Well, Suzaku is understandable, a really hawt princess that wanted to do it with him died by his best friend. Nina......LOL. Rollo is probably a result of no childhood/relationships. I delete anime as soon as i finish, i don't see why you would keep them. I find re watching things boring, unless it was something outstanding. Oh yeah and i might recommend d.Grayman for an anime its pretty good, just finished it.

 

You'd have to buy a pretty decent dvd write drive to get anything into decent DVD quality. I've used several and gave up after burning a bunch of movies with out of sync sound/slow distorted video.

The best thing to do would be to buy a cheap dvdwrite drive, (you can get them for about $20 these days) and get a dvd player that plays xvid/vidx format. ($30 at walmart.) So you just convert the video to xvid and put it on the dvd. Then you don't have to worry about the shitty self-convert that goes into making it on a normal dvd type.

Right now i have a 400 gig HDD and a 500 gig external HDD, with about 200 gigs taken up by anime and movies. Never got into gundam wing (the dub just freaked me out, terrible voices) and gundam 00 just seems too...Gundam wing-ish.

FMA is a good series, same with Death note and Detective conan. I've only seen up episodes 89 or so with conan, a shame really because I love the series. Thats one of the few anime with a great dub job.

By the way, if you use megaupload, it's EASY to get a premium account! You know that "chance" game you can play to get premium? All you have to do is load the flash via tabs of the website and keep playing the game. I play about 50 times a day (when I need to) or so with this method, and currently have a month premium because of it.

If it's not at 500+ than the direct download isn't worth it . Might as well just torrent the whole series rather than setup individual downloads.

I've always had a strange liking for Gundam, although Seed sickened me to no end.

Detective Conan, or Case Closed in the US, is one of my all-time favorites. You're right that the dub is pretty good, and the best part about the series is it actually gets better as it goes along. The individual cases are fun, but the whole thing with the Black Organization gets really interesting later. In fact, season 13 has been entirely about the Organization up to this point. One other major point Detective Conan has going for it is the mind boggling 501 episodes, and it's still chugging out another every few weeks.

EDIT: I should probably end the Detective Conan stuff there, a little off topic. But yeah, check it out if you've got time. The dub is good, though I'm not sold on the whole switching to America thing.

 

Just add the links to their megamanager, I normally just add like 100 links or so into the manager, then go to bed. Wake up and it's all done, got a new series, and I get some sleep. Beware though, the first time I did this my ISP called me wondering just why I had downloaded about 15 gigs of "unreported media" within 5 hours or so .

I actually liked seed, once you got over the "omg no my best friend haterz me" idea it worked out pretty well. Can't say the same thing about Seed Destiny though (basically the same story line as SEED but without the interesting subplots >.<).

I can't help thinking that Gilford will be joining Zero this time, I just can't. Apparently the emperor took his princess away, the one who's most loyal to him. Once he finds out i can't imagine he'd be too happy.

 

It depends if he finds out that it was the Emperor who was responsible for Cornelia's disappearance. BTW, where the hell is the Emperor hiding all these Princesses? Does he have some sort of basemant prison or something?

Damn that's some sick shit, but also kind of relvevant...there is a lot of talk in the show, especially among the purists, about selective breeding. I wouldn't be surprised if a few incestuous relationships happened among the royal family. Plus there was the whole Nunnally and Euphemia talking about how they used to argue about who would marry Lelouch...

Definitely got to feel for Nunnally and Cornelia too I guess. I always sort of liked Cornelia. She is a good fighter and pretty hot too.

 

Actually, downloading (it) is illegal. The difference is the fact that the Japanese companies won't be bothered to prosecute outside their borders. Also, both seasons have been licensed by Bandai Entertainment.

My bad. For some reason, I was positive that something was said about that. 19 is really too young to be losing my memory...sigh...but it does make sense. Britannia seems to be an empire that would encourage selective breeding to breed the best qualities, strongers, smarter, etc. Just look at the end of episode 6 when the Emperor goes on his "Equality is evil...we are born to be different..." rant. I hardly think he would discourage the idea of trying to breed traits into noble families.
