All I gotta say is; Suzaku better not get a Geass. That would be full of gay and fail.

The reason I went on a Death Note =/= Code Geass rant is because everyone is comparing them like they're parallel series.

Lelouch is not, I repeat, is NOT evil. Hell, he's hardly done anything immoral. Yeah, he's "using" the black knights... to accomplish a goal they readily support. Despite being tools to him, they're quite willing and knowledgeable tools. Unlike Light, Lelouch does NOT think he is a God above the morals of human kind, and he does not go around judging everyone. Hell, I'll go as far as saying Lelouch actually thinks he is more immoral than he actually acts. Would Lelouch kill Shirley to further his ends? Would he have killed Euphie voluntarily? Would he fight against Nunnally? No. These are things Light would certainly have done by now.

Suzaku's biggest fault isn't being an illogical and semi-retarded cunt. No, it's that, in his mind, he is taking the peaceful route... by piloting a Knightmare Frame. He's the kinda guy who thinks you can fuck in the name of virginity and kill in the name of peace.

If you like him, Ryuuichi, good for you. Someone has too. I'm more interested as to why Lelouch annoys you?

    More on topic:

Zero will be no more for a few episodes, I suppose. Lelouch won't be able to find it in himself to raise arms against Nunnally. My prediction - It will be Rollo who knocks him out of this funk, and does something to make Lelouch Zero again. I say this because Rollo fancies himself a replacement for Nunally, and he will shortly see that he is not such at all. Whether this will make him more or less attached to Lelouch remains to be seen.

EDIT: Suzaku won't get a geass. He is already a superb pilot, and a Knight. Lelouch's geass gives him the power to use his intellect. Suzaku's Lancelot gives him the power to use his piloting prowess, and emo-powered overdrive.

Goddamn it! I just realized a SUPER spoiler that now has MUCH MROE EVIDENCE in R2... It's so fucking PERFECT damn it. I wanna post it... but I really don't wanna spoil it if it's true... fuck.

Put it in spoiler tags. That way you are only spoiling it for people who decide they want to be spoiled.

I think that Lelouch will... for the lack of better words, go emo in episode 7 but things will quickly change from there. Somebody in animesuki found these (summaries of turn 7-10):
Turn 7 The Discarded Mask 「棄てられた 仮面」May 18th Losing the meaning to fight anymore, Lelouch discards the mask and wonders in the streets. Is he going to give up being Zero? Deep in the night in the empty Ashford Academy, what will Lelouch see? At the same time, Suzaku is pressing upon the OotBK who's stationed in Tokyo Bay. Is this the end to Zero and the Order?

Turn 8 Miracle/Track/Foundation of a Million 「百万 の キセキ」May 25th The new governor-general declares the establishment of "Administrative District Japan". This name has became a synonym to the massacre of Princess Euphiemia. What is the real intention behind this declaration which brings up the nightmare again?

Turn 9 Bride in Vermillion Forbidden City「朱禁城 の 花嫁」 June 1st Chinese Federation, the super power in Asia. To become allies with this country would be a leading step towards world strategy. In a feast that celebrates the friendship between Britannia and Chinese Federation, Lelouch daringly enters with only a small number of guards.

Turn 10 When the Shen-Hu Shines「神虎 輝く 刻」 June 8th Chinese Federation is finally turned into a battlefield. To win the battle, the leaders of the federation, "The Great Eunuchs", ordered the sortie of the cursed KMF that deprives the pilot's life, the "Shen-Hu" (Godly Tiger).
I think that we can conclude from turn nine that Schneizel and Tianzi are engaged. Hmmm... Anya, Kaguya, Nunnally and Tianzi. Lol, there sure seem to be a lot of lolis in CG :p

    MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT
Lelouch's mother is not dead. In fact, she's been with both Lelouch and Nually throughout their entire lives. After the shooting, the Emperor used his Geass to change their memories. Lelouch's mother is, in fact, Sayoko, his long time maid. I heard this rumor befor I knew Charles had a geass that could change memories, and now I think it is MUCH more viable.

Is that fucking epic or what?

No, I think that is not possible. First of all they don't even have the same eye-color. I think that I also read somewhere that Marianna was a very tall woman while Sayoko isn't.

Would the king's geass last that long? Suzaku, Viletta, and Rolo were tasked to determine if Lelouche had regained his memories. If that's the case, then the memory block can't last that long. Perhaps the memory block does last but the king new that it would only be a matter of time before C.C. would dispel the effect.

    Ohh...

But there are still some problems with this theory. For example, why should the emperor change their memory if Marianne survived. Why go through all that trouble if she lived.

In addition, the Britannians are very prejudiced against everybody who are not Britannian (e.g. Nina). There is no way that a foreigner with no status could be so acquainted with the emperor to the point that they marry.

Eh, this is getting silly. Let's just agree to disagree on this matter.;)

    Ahhhh...Not really a spoiler.

I figured it out at the scene in R2 where Sayoko is with everyone in China (I think thats where they were) and the camera guy (I'm horrible with names) told her "to prepare" everything to move. They wouldn't have brought along the maid unless she was important to the story, so the logical guess along with knowing the Emperor's geass was to say she was their mother.

Also, this rumor was on the net for a while, I think I first saw it on a youtube fan video like a month ago.

I can see Lelouch's memory being altered – it's very plausible. The Emperor may have some grand scheme with Lelouch desiring to get revenge and that
    "killing god"
    thing.

But wouldn't C.C.'s kiss have undone that block? If it was all encompassing, it should have removed all memory alterations.

There is evidence to say she's alive, though. No one knows who ordered her death. It could be that no one did, that'd be a nice twist.

The maid thing, I doubt it, though.

Well if that theory is true then it would be two sepperat blocks, CC only having the power to undo the one that was directly connected to her.

EP 7 was great. It broke from the formula of the last 6 episodes.

Lelouch going temporarily emo/crazy was pretty awesome, the ending just made me go "WUT" though.

I hope peace doesn't last long though - or god forbid, Lelouch permanently allies with Suzaku/Nunnally.

Anyone else think that Nunnally's going to die by the end of this series?

The way Lelouch was acting, I got the feeling he would. Nunally may die, since she's Euphemie's stand-in, but... I doubt anyone would bother killing a cripple.

Actually, I'm curious how this will all end. Lelouch will probably kill his father, but then what?

Well I felt she'd die more of a tragic accident of Lelouch's rather than someone meaning to kill her, but I could be wrong. :mid3

None of us can really tell how it's going to end, because we have some large unknowns here.

    First and foremost-

C.C.-We have no idea what her real motives are, we know she has made contracts with other people, and we know she will kill those who get in her way, even if she loves them.

V.V.-Gave the power of Geass to the Emperor, we know she has a motive too, but no idea what it is.

The Emperor-This is just one big "WTF". Why is he pussy footing around? Why not just capture lelouch, then wait for C.C. to try and rescue him? It would probably work. Theres no doubt he knows Lelou has his memory back, he sent Suzaku, the knights, and Nunnally to bait him.

Rollo-We don't know just how long his loyalty will last, I bet he turns on Lelou eventually.

And those are just the people we know about! Theres no way anyone but the creators could really predict the show ending.

I get the feeling from his darwinistic attitude and the way he acted in the very first episode that he is just testing Lelouch to see if he would make a good heir.

By the way V.V. is a guy. This is evident by both his voice and how Charles calls him Nii-san.

Lelouch had better get over it, NAO. If the next episode is more angsty than this one, I'll... Well... I'll be pissed off.
