On the subject of Rollo's Geass, it was shown in this episode for it's AoE to expand like a dome. Not a particularily fast one, but if you're standing still you're toast. From the speed I saw, if you had a decent distance and were expecting it you probably could outrun it. Though Viletta had red-rimmed eyes when it hit her, so I'm wondering if it merely stops the electrons in your brain, instead of actually stopping time.

Rolo's geass doesn't stop time. It just stun people. You can see that water is failing(sp?) in the sewers when Rolo gutted that dude in front of Villeta.

Huh, so once again, it seems that up until now, there has never been a geass that can directly effect the physical world.

    Now thats promising information.

If you limit it to the anime then you are correct. However, Nightmare of Nunnally provides some basis for Geass that affect the physical world. I'm interested to see what limits Rollo's Geass has.

Well spotted, I didn't even notice that.

I'm really glad the Geass simply stuns rather than stops time, as it would have been way to overpowered otherwise.

It's got a range limit too, as far as I could tell. You see the red line that it expands to?

We know only couple of limitations of Rolo's geass.
    #1 - range - 20 - 30 meters?
#2 - affects only living things (humans, animals) - water was running in the sewers, also Rolo didn't use his ability when OotBK was shooting at him to stop the bullets.

IMO Rolo geass can be used multiple times on the same person.

I was wondering how the series would end. Would Lelouch achieve his goals or would he fail? What do you think? What would be the ideal ending for you?

For me that would be victory of Lelouch and his ascension on the throne of Britannia.

The Most Cracked Up Ending: entire show was an TV documentary about Black Rebellion and after that it is time for Empress New Year Speech - Nunnally Vi Britannia :) (with Nunnally shouting: All Hail Britannia!) That would totaly rock.

This one is hard to fuck up. Britannia is clearly a bad guy, and Zero is clearly a "good guy".

One future development I have been semi-spoiled (not entirely sure it's true) would change EVERYTHING. (If you really wanna know, I'll PM you the spoiler. The temptation of a spoiler tag may be too much for most people).

Preferred Ending: Lelouch succeeds and takes the throne.

Worst Ending: Lelouch is killed by Suzaku and Japan is suddenly liberated because Suzaku did things the right way.

If the second scenario happens the people in charge better sleep with their eyes open.

QFT. The ending'll probably be delayed for as long as the creators think they can keep us going. Which means Lelouch will lose. A lot.

I think that Geass has reached its limit with the amount of people with it. No more should the writers give anyone a Geass. We have Lelouch, Rollo and the King. I think that is enough. Though I get the feeling that Suzaku is going to obtain a Geass at some point.

    Huh, sleep.

I was thinking more like getting them when they're just sitting down to a nice quiet dinner with the family. That way you not only 'take him out' but freak the kids and the others. Sends a message, ya know?

Good point, make an example to all the young ones out there that anime like this can't end in a friendly hugfest without real bloodshed.

I hope to god that Suzaku does not get a Geass. Enough people have them and it'll be hard enough for Lelouch to win as things are now. To me, giving Suzaku a Geass would be similar to the way Naruto was ruined when Sasuke suddenly became a god for absolutely no reason. Emo-bitch, your parents died, get the fuck over it. Sorry, I have unresolved Naruto issues...(slinks away)

If I remember, in my pre-R2lust, I read an interview stating that Lelouch's past "Will come back to haunt him".

I don't know if this means Suzaku might get a geass, as he is a huge part of his past, but it's possible.

PS-I never got past the 3 episode of Naruto. I'm sorry, you're supposed to be a NINJA, since when do NINJA's yell out "KIAAA!!!" when they're SNEAKING?

On the bright side of Rollo's Geass CC would be unaffected by it. Which I predict means some CC>Rollo pwnage soon. Better yet he gives us the 'NOOOOOOOOO THIS IS IMPOSIBLE!!!111!!!' speech right before she gets him.

Speaking of inserting knives...I think I want to kill the top executives of whichever company was in charge of dubbing Code Geass. I just watched the first episode on the adult swim website, and it was even worse than I predicted. Every word was painfully sub-par. For some reason, I retained hope that maybe Code Geass would be different from other dubs. My mistake. I should have seen this coming since I heard C.C.'s lackluster performance on the trailer. Oh well, at least I have the subs.

Theres a reason almost all anime online is subbed ;). I've only seen maybe 4 or 5 dub jobs that could be considered even half way decent. If you do keep watching the dub, watch for scenes that get cut out. If it's running on CTNW than it's going to be very heavily edited. Just another reason not to watch it.

Adult Swim usually doesn't cut too much, but I won't watch it anyway. The only good moment was the opening song. They kept "COLORS" by FLOW.

Dubs almost always suck. There are only 7 or 8 good VA's and they don't and can't fit every character.
