Just wondering, but where are the smiles and tags, specifically the smiles since I know all the tags.

It looks cool professional. Only think I don't like is the lightning bolts on the first page. They looked better with a dark background. But Meh....

Well, I'm still getting use to it, so no final impressions.

One thing I quickly figured out - On the "New Posts" page, refresh doesn't work. You have to click on "New Posts" link again to get a new listing... Not some big fault, just a tip for DLP-ers who might have problems with this.

Oh, and I'm backing up Mrridler. This new editor doesn't show any advanced options - no smiley's, no tags, nothing. Is there some setting I should change or what?

One last thing. I'm occasionally using 800x600 resolution. The whole forum works fine on it (all tables are horisontally scaleable, unlike the previous version), but the DLP logo in the top is just wide enough to require horizontal scrolling (I beleive it's around 820 px wide + 2 x 20 px of horizontal margines). Could you scale it down just a bit, to fit 800 px screen width (I beleive 740 px should do it). It's not some big problem, but the solution seems simple enough too...

Yes. Had you read the announcement (which is why it's there), it says that the WYSIWYG editor options and a few other things were not pulled over correctly, and had to be set in your user cp :p

Thanks. got it. You should know that such details usually needs to be pounded into users' heads before they stop complaining. :)

Overall it seems very good. Posts are easier to read and I absolutely adore this quick reply box, it's probably going to get more of the lurkers to post. I also like the fact that you don't have to get instant emails from certain threads just because you posted in them.

Only very minor problem is the white on lightish green background for replies. Also I think the repping thing, while good, may get a little bit out of hand but I don't really know how it works so correct me if I'm wrong.

    Good job Raven!

Edit: Just noticed that you get previews of the threads whn you leave your curser over the thread name: fantastic! Also, the new editing is awesome!

It would have ported these settings over as "subscribe to all" had I not run a query to turn it off for everyone =)

I've also been performance tweaking, so everyone let me know your comments on that as well.

No, I noticed the difference - there was a period of about 30mins where it kept crashing but it's all better now.

In that thing you call a closet. Better watch out,
I really love the new set up and can honestly say that this forum is better for it.

I do however have one problem. Are we going to get our old smilies back or do we stay with the crappy ones.
