However, it did freak me out when I finally got my new computer situated and went to check on this site to see everything different! (The banner, while awesome, is a scary site to see when absolutly exahausted)

It was working rather slowly, that's my only complaint. It might just be my computer, though. Still not through with adjusting all the settings and firewalls/security and such... *shrugs*

I just moved a week or so ago. I've been a house-elf ever since, and even worse! I had no computer. I had to wait a week until my new one showed up. Now all I have to deal with is a backed up email. The site definitely looks sexy, though

Good to see I can edit my avvie now, though. And to note, it was my computer making it run slowly. My Norton program was attempting block the site.

W/b Rain! I did change quite abit layout wise, and thanks to our donors and mostly Vash, Raven was able to change the visual style (Zev's vb style)+ coding of the site as well.

 

Didnt want to open a new thread for this... When do the DLP awards take place? Were the last ones a one-off?

 

If I remember correctly they took part in December of last year. I should imagine that they would also be about the same time this year. That is if they will be running the awards again.

 

Have there even been enough updates in regards to new fics lately to qualify decent length entries?

Wouldn't want us to be votin gon the same ones again, and since HBP and GoF fanon's taken a major hit

 

Yes, I haven't read many new fics that even deserve more than a few seconds let alone a nomination. It'll just be the same old fics from last time.
