There seems to be a disturbing trend of people who unashamedly come out and say they don't like Partially Kissed Hero. Back in the day, I would have thought that was banworthy. To see DLP sink to these levels...it hurts. Nay, it strikes at my very core.

I'll admit, Partially Kissed Hero had some extraordinary rape scenes starring Dumbledore, but PKH's been mentioned already multiple times, let's keep moving onto other recs please. We got the fucking message.

Wizard of the kaleidoscope is a good story.
It doesn't start particularly well but it gets far better as the story goes on.
The redoing using a similar concept to the first is excellently written. It has one of the best dumbledores I've seen. With a beautifully crafted world

All this did was remind me of how good Partially Kissed Hero is.

    God, that's the best story.

Yeah, Dumbledore's characterization in that is just awesome.

Everybody should have a Partially Kissed Hero in their life.

All of this discussion makes me wonder whether a competent Dumbledore should be an omni-competent Dumbledore. The worst Dumbledores to my mind are those that tilt too far in either direction. You either often have the frequently incompetent, unsubtle and often magically weak Dumbledore of many poor Indy fics or to my mind the equally dislikeable omnipotent, all seeing and never ruffled Dumbledore of other fics.

I agree with the previous posters, Partially Kissed Hero Dumbledore is the best.

Are you saying you've never read Partially Kissed Hero? Dude, it is the seminal (and I mean that in every possible way) Harry/Trelawney/Mcgonagall/Luna/Hermione/Sprout/etcetera fic! I've read it twice.

I can't say I have read Partially Kissed Hero yet, though since it is so semenal and comes so highly reccommended I'll be sure to read it. I think I will save the best for last though and read it after everything else.

I mean just look at that. His intelligence is showcased very well by Perfect Lionheart. It's almost perfect in it's nature. Kudos to his worship worthy portrayal of the great Albus Dumbledore!

Hm..Didn't Terminator already pull the "mega-corporaton wars" bit? IIRC Taco Bell was the winner (somehow) and had turned into a fancy restaurant.

Everyone knows McDonalds already controls the vast majority of the market and would be able to turn that into more/better soldiers. Maybe they just didn't pay for the product placement?

That was the movie Demolition Man with Wesley Snipes and Sylvester Stallone.
