Been playing xbox on and off.. and good lord wtf with the controls.

Playing a FPS is like seeing how long you can play without throwing the damned controller. After being such a hardcore FPS player with the mouse+keyboard, using a controller is like the antichrist.

Additionally it seems like the games, even when placed on HARD difficulty, play in easy mode

Ah well, enjoying the lil bit of relaxing I've been able to do lately.

What are your nominations of worst xbox game for controls?

Goldeneye Rogue Agent (with the auto aim off and the lil red dot this o big on a goddamned 36 inch TV screen)
Black (horrible)

 

On the subjest of controllers, have you seen the pictures of what the PS3 one's are gonna look like?

I was gonna get the console when it came out before I saw those monsters - they look like silver boomarangs with buttons on!

I, personally, have never played on an XBox, but on the PS2 Killzone has terrible controls.

Its shaped like that so when you throw it, it comes back.

But really most next gen consoles have bad looking controllers.

 

beh, the playstation dual shock controller is THE best controller ever made IMHO, no reason for them to elongate the handholds like that.

The xbox one gets me mad, b/c the original ones are HUGE, yet the S-controllers have tiny ass black/white buttons that are positioned akwardly to hit on command in a hurry

 

Mid, i've never played Black on xbox, but on PS2 the controls are easy to get used to, the only thing i found difficult is the grenades, but that's only because in most modes the game's so damned easy that you don't need them.

 

I'm gonna get a revolution. I heard the controllers are going to be motion sensered(sp?). That'd be kick ass for a hack and slash game.

Sree, I believe that they took elements from all controlers up til then and combined elements from all of them, like the shape from the Dreamcast.

Harpy, yes, it will have motion sensing. The controler will act like a mouse in a 3-D enviroment.
