Seriously? 0.o Why not? It looks like it'd be awesome fun. I mean, can you imagine the view? Especially being able to look over the edge like that.

It's obviously a tad dangerous, but if you aren't stupid, it'd be had to accidentally fall off. Considering what seems to be the lack of current where they are swimming.

I really get the feel of it being the edge of the world. Beautiful, and I'd be scared shitless, but I'd love to go.

Slightly offtopic, but this wtf pic maybe best placed here.
I was playing facebook scrabble with a friend.

Not only would I love to get in that awesome Devil's Pool, but I wouldn't be particularly scared either. Cautious, sure, but how dangerous can it be if people are taking their kids near the edge? And the view!

Here is what I think everyone who said "NO" meant when they said they did not want to go...

The scrabble dictionary was saying negro was not a word but nigger is.

Negro is black (m) in Spanish which of course means that an English dictionary isn't going to count it (unless it has an exactly spelled counterpart in English, which it doesn't) while nigger is a perfectly acceptable word. If I remember correctly niggardly is a word and it means miserly, even though I am pretty sure the etymologies are different. It was the correct term for a black individual pre-Civil Rights Era. It is a slur today, but way back that is just what you said. I am wondering why you did not know that Oruma?

Since the last time I cracked open a dictionary in '05.

Has it made a comeback? Or was my dictionary too PC?

And here is Merriam-Webster to prove me wrong. Seems like Negro is still a word, though they say "sometimes offensive".

It may be because I've seen the word across English books, dictionaries, etc. over the years - and last I checked, it has been used as an English word since at least the 1950s. Thus, I assumed it has been added to the TWL dictionary Scrabble uses. I was wrong and it isn't... and the validity of "nigger" as a word just make this even more rage-inducing and :facepalm-worthy for me.

Oh, and, I'm from HK and English is my second language. So, yeah.

Is there some way to get Dobby in there without ruining the cool factor?

Yeah, it's technically some kind of swamp thing, but the whole pic just gives of this eerie ass vibe that eally reminds me of gollums cave.
