This is really bad design. May seem nice for first ten seconds, but is weird (costs more - more fluid shown), and pointlessly distracting.

 

Ummm, I think you might be misreading it, the cost is the amount of ink in the syringe. Its the cost per ml, not for the amount shown, its a bit unclear but thats due to them being visually dramatic rather than perfectly factual.

 

In my opinion it would be more visually dramatic and less confusing if they showed what amount you can buy for 1 dollar for example.
