I would sit him down and hav a chat. Find out what insecurities he has that makes him want to kill people, and generally make him feel good about himself... I think the main probelm with Voldemort is that he is subject to undue critisism and he is just a misunderstood individua...

I think it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyhow. I'd join in a heartbeat. I mean, my options are train under a powerful dark wizard and learn some twisted shit, or die. Yea, hard choice.

Please use correct grammer. Also I really doubt he would not have encountered a gun before. One of the muggles he has killed must have had one and tried to kill him with it.

Depending on how funny the situation was (I mean, Voldemort would be at my door. On my street. In my little town) I would either laugh at him, or mock him. Then call my friend.
    *mocks Voldemort*

Heh That's what your comment reminded me of... I know the fic is H+G but what can I say it was one of the very first fanfics in Harry Potter I ever read..in fact its what inspired me to seek out the books, up to this I'd avoided the whole Harry Potter 'fad' as I'd thought of it then.

You mean please use correct grammar. This is England, we don't have guns here. Growing up in the muggle world however, I'm sure he knows what a gun is.

I'd probably be to cowardly to do anything against him to tell you the truth. Though I think it's ridiculous that in GOF (which I just re-read) 100,000! Wizards flee from 7 death eaters. I mean come on, a second year can cast expelliarmus. How hard would it be to cast that ONE curse ONCE each. Seriously that's pathetic.

Yeah, I read that. One of my favorites. Of course, I can totally get where Harry is coming from, mocking Voldemort. It just seems to be so easy. Of course, then one would likely bring down his Voldemorty wrath.
It is also fun to go *mock* :D

shows you how cowardly wizards truly are; they all run around like chickens with their heads cut of, and it's all JKR's fault.

ya, i'd probably scream and run around in circles while the fag shoots green and beams at me with a stick while screaming "Merry Christmas!"

I wonder what the criminals shoot people with there then... and uncle Vernon must've just popped back from America in the first book. You mean you can't legally own handguns, don't you?

I own a gun. Goes with my hunting license. ^_^

Well, if I was actually a character in the Wiz-world and Voldemort had killed some people I knew/liked/loved I would probably resist all attempts. Go all, "You can kill me, I'll haunt you for the rest of your life!" If I hadn't lost anyone I wouldn't resist and learn what I could until I could do something about the situation.

If Voldemort and the Wiz-world were real but in "my world" I'd probably support any sort of muggle killing. Mostly because wizards would die too, and I just don't like human beings in general. We be a plague! A plague!

Then, when someone else kills him and I'm caught as a conspirator I would never have to worry about taxes for the rest of my life! (I haven't worried yet, but I will, I will. Evil. *stabs the word tax*)

I gotta agree. If i already was a wizard, and he was doin bad shit, then i would apparate away. Then, i'd head into Knocturn Alley, and buy everything i needed to do a whole bunch of rituals. Then, i'd kick his scaly ass to hell.

If i was a muggleborn, and i had no clue about magic, i'd join straight away. I'd be loyal, to an extent, and still do the rituals so that i become his most powerful death eater. Then, i'd kick his scaly ass to hell.

I guess, my point is, no matter how unconnected, that i would do rituals, and then kick his scaly ass to hell.

I'd probably agree, and then the next chance I get, I'd leave, and hide with Dumbledore. Beg him to protect me. Pathetic, but safe.

Doesn't the mark prevent something like that from happening? Voldemort can't honestly expect that no one would ever try to betray him. I bet that's one of the main reason he gives his followers the mark.

    I agree.

I think it'd be easier to do something absurd (honk his nose) to shock him, then pull out <insert your small arm> and blow a hole through his head.

Rituals would still be fun though, of course.

Than what of Snape? Even IF you buy Dumbledore's cockamamie postulation that Snape came to him AFTER the Potter's had been attacked (and Voldemort's power broken, something not even Dumbledore would trust)

Snape was still betraying Voldemort at least SOMEWHAT during the 5 and 6 books. (ANd arguably 4th when he showed his Dark Mark burning to Cornelius Fudge. A bold move to say the least.)

Anyway, he at least SOMEWHAT betrayed Voldemort. (And let's not forget Ivan Karkaroff who was able to refuse the mark's call, at least disobedience if not a betrayal of the Dark Lord's will, and Bellatrix Lestrange who went to see Snape in Book 6, something the Dark Lord wouldn't have approved of.)

Bah! I don't know what the Dark Mark does, but it CERTAINLY doesn't assure loyalty.

I thought it was just used for calling the death eaters, and hurting them if they were really bugging him?
