I my self don't mind Harry/Cho because my like for it spawned from the time where the only non-slash parings where Harry/Hermione, HPGW and Harry/CHo. But if shes too nemotionally weak then forget it

True, I don't like it when she's weak and all. I liked her in Draco664's Betrayal Of The Best Kind though. Probably the only fic I liked her in.

I agree. Betrayal Of The Best Kind was a good Harry/Cho fic. Probably the only good Harry/Cho fic.

Its a very nice story, and certainly one of the few successful Harry/Multiple + Heir of Grindelwald stories I've ever seen.

Rather nice fight scene in there also, heh.

I think Cho in it isn't really anything more then a character designed to get the other women jealous though.

aye its a trend I've noticed, some of the worst stories will be updated everyday, but you get several good ones that get maybe a chapter or two, and no updates ever again =(

I've given up reading anything thats less then 50K words, lol

I debated on waiting totally before releasing anything of mine, but I found I write better when I write totally within the reply box of this forum. Each chapter of my story has been written within about 15 mins and posted literally as soon as I finish it, lol.

Just helps the process when you know what you are writing is liked right off, instead of posting a full story and winding up changing bits everyone loathes IMHO

And back on topic, Die H/GW and H/CC fics! (author friends excluded of course)

w00t. Perhaps I should try it too? I can't seem to get motivated when writing my next chaper...perhaps if I made a battle scene, but a stroll through the greenery is hardly an adequate place for a battle, especially when I have no enemies as of yet...bah!

I'm a very sarcastic person IRL, so i often think of funny little quips or situations that I jot down to write into chapters. I often built fight scenes I've written for ppl in the past, leading up just to that comment, or situation

I found writing it all down for the first time in the reply box lends urgency to the writing. I don't feel rushed, but i tend to just write whatever pops into my mind and make it all work as I go, instead of writing out extensive outlines like some do

I don't write extensive outlines, though I do have five pages of notes. Perhaps I shall try your reply box method.

o_O ... >_> ive only managed a page and a half of notes for Lost.. and i find listening to Bill Cosby or some other comedian actually helps me to work... even if its angsty evilness

My notes are ideas that branch out by subject, such as:

    Wands
    -Used for blocking spells?
    --Upward sweep
    -Mahogany

    etc.

Then my chapter direction is entirely spur of the moment, though I usually do spend a few hours mentally planning the chapter.

o_O HP/LL? ... i read a few good ones... HP and the Final Straw is a pretty good one.. i dunt mind it, but im more of a honks and hellatrix shipper myself...

lunas got the potential to be a good character but personally i think shes just a filler character in the book... not really important
