Skindred's Cover of Electric Avenue is pretty good.

 

If we're going to include classical music in this, or at least orchestra music, then the Tour de Japon cover of Final Fantasy IX's Not Alone is awesome in every single way. Including the conductor. Especially the conductor. One Winged Angel also gets an honourable mention.

Secondly, a golden oldie from the young internet that pretty much everyone will recognise: Pachebel's Canon in D Major on electric guitar (Canon Rock).

Yeah that album was pretty disappointing, but this covers actually one they did a while ago and I like it alot.
