Words can't describe totally how horrible this movie is.

Crank 1 was funny, full of awesome, yet still funny fight scenes, done in an over the top, realism busting manner, but the movie was epic.

Crank 2 picks up with them scrapping Chelios off the ground with what appears to be a shovel, and replacing his heart. How he didn't turn into jello after falling thousands of feet from the helicopter they don't bother to explain.

There is nudity just for nudity's sake in this movie, which isn't a bad thing... but there are barely any hot women to be found. Amy Smart gets fucked gain in front of everyone, and shows her tits several times, but other then her there are scores of nasty bitches in this movie. Which makes no sense when he drives through a porn strike, and you got Jenna Haze on top of the car rubbing her tits on the windshield.

This movie takes over the top WAY beyond believable to the point where it's cringe worthy. Chelios survives for one, the other dude that got thrown out of the helicopter does as well, Futurama style, as a head in a water tank. etc. There's just way too much shit, to the point where it ruins the movie.

Way too many repeated scenes from the first movie, but most of the actors are back, and it's amusing to see the cameos.

The ending is sudden and shitty, and feels like they were told to wrap shooting with a day's notice. Needed another half hour, and the crazy shit toned down in order to of made this movie rewatchable.

Crank 1 was awesome, this pile of shit is not. Uwe Boll could of done better.

Maybe, and with his face burned off there's a chance someone else (plastic surgery?) will play the part if Statham refuses to sign up for the third movie.

I gotta say: I absolutely loved the movie. Sure there is nothing even resembling a rational plot or realism in it. But frankly, I don't care. I went to the cinema with the intention of watching a completely fucked up and erratic movie and thats exactly what I got. Now all I have to do is watch it drunk. I hope it will be even better.

 

Never would have spent money on it. Will probably watch it eventually however, when its free, just for the hell of it.

 

Shit like this movie is why I acquire it first, and then buy it later on dvd if it's worth it. I don't think I've bought a movie in a long time other then Iron Man and Dark Knight.

 

Well I actually enjoyed this, I think enjoyed it more than others because I watched for one reason and one reason only. Mindless retarded violence interspersed with naked Amy Smart, and I got exactly that. I never even considered a plot for the movie.
