CrossfireX to be Vista-only

In general, AMD looks to have done a decent job with CrossfireX, but the down side is that to me, it is about as useless as knobby tires on the aforementioned Enzo (Editor - This I want to see!). Why? It only works with the broken OS, Vista. Due to the Malware and DRM infestation in that OS, they changed how video works on a fundamental level.
This means that the CrossfireX architecture will have to be completely redone if they want an XP version, something they deemed not worth doing at this point, and I hate to say that I agree with the decision, but I do. That said, because of this, you are never going to see more than 2 GPUs working on XP making CrossfireX pointless to anyone not liking the malware that comes with Vista.

Meh.

CrossfireX is a niche market anyway. By the time ATI make video cards worth buying for CrossfireX, Vista will be more widespread.

For 3D gaming nVidia is King. nVidia in SLI works just fine in XP. By the time CrossfireX becomes a serious competitor to SLI gaming we might all be playing on an improved Vista. Not any time soon though.

One card is enough for me.
