Sent you the link, hopefully it doesn't get taken down too soon. Don't expect much of it though, the guy playing it is just waddling around.

Weird thing is that since physical copies are already delivered then people who don't connect their PS4 to the net will play a version that was considered bad enough to have a last minute delay. Or it's not that bad, but why have a delay then?

Apparently Best Buy in the US has now shipped all their Collector’s Editions (probably taking up too much space in their storage for too long) and from reddit comments I’ve seen, yes it does seem to be quite buggy. I’d wait for the day one patch personally, but as a PC player without the option of physical copies anyway it doesn’t matter to me.

What does matter is my new mission to avoid spoilers, which I’m sure there will be plenty of with this many copies in the wild. It’s a bit of a shit show to be honest. Lifetime bans for anyone posting untagged spoilers before release in my unsolicited opinion, but to be honest I’ll probably just start avoiding any CP2077 threads until I’ve finished the game.

The people streaming the game, so far at least, haven't shown anything really spoiler worthy. This one guy was basically playing around in some basic combat tutorials for 15 minutes and doing absolutely fuck all.

If I was intending to play this game anytime soon, 1pm would be a great time for it to launch.

Having watched more than a few videos of the game from people playing on the PS5, Night City looks like a ghost town. There's barely any NPCs, regardless if you're traveling on foot or in a vehicle. Some people are saying the PC version will have crowd/NPC density slider, but I'm not too sure. Did Witcher 3 look empty as well on consoles? On PC it could look reasonably populated, depending on the location.

I mean Witcher is generally a feudal setting so the majority of places are sparsely populated with but with that in mine, Novigrad and Oxenfort were fairly well populated. Just about every street in Novigrad had anywhere from 6 - 12 npcs with the major hubs like markets generally being pretty well populated. Oxenfort was less so but it is a smaller city

Some reviews are out, right now the average score is 91/100 on metacritic (38 reviews). Seems like the game is great, but there's a lot of bugs, so probably better to play it in a few months.

Apparently the performance isn't that good either. And it's not really encouraging that CDPR didn't allow reviewer's own gameplay footage to be used for reviews, they had to get by with what CDPR had shown before.

PC Gamer said they received a 50GB patch partway through the review period that is what consumers will have Day 1, and they seem to be the most vocal critic about how buggy the game is.

Everything I've heard about performance on PC makes me think this is going to run like absolute ass on PS4/Xbone, which is unsurprising.

    Good to know.

the general vibe I’m getting is the gameplay and city are good while the story is great

While I can't wait to play this game, I think I'll finish AC Valhalla first, then maybe play Immortals after. I'm gonna let you all beta test for me and hope I get a much better experience in Januaryish XD

After the shitey experience that Valhalla has been for me, I can't imagine putting Cyberpunk off to continue it.

You'll get the patches for some apparent bugs doing it that way. Apparently nothing story-breaking, but just things like mixed audio and such. Still very keen for this one.

PCGamer reported that there were one or two game-breaking bugs in their review, such as children spawning on a shooting range meaning the shooting contest couldn't be completed (since you can't shoot at/near kids), and a broken elevator trigger.

It's a huge game, there's no doubt some jank that'll be found and ironed out. I'm not fussed.
