    Anybody else watch this show?

I freakin love it so far. Marathon'd the whole thing during the comcast watchathon week.

Entertaining enough that I can totally ignore the glaring historical errors.

Yeah I do. I keep expecting it to reach Spartacus levels of greatness(in terms of story and plot) but it seems that its content with being at B level which I don't mind.

Apparently Da Vinci invented everything according to the show.

I don't particular like the recent development of the chick becoming a part of the Book of leaves plot its just one of those stupid tropes that the love interest has to be a part of the plot.

I do on the other hand like whats happening with the Medici's and Riario.

I think this is loads better than Spartacus, to be honest. The hilarity of Spartacus' blood spurts and generously padded diapers wore off after season 2.

And Da Vinci actually did have rudimentary designs for most of the inventions that appear on the show. 80% of it didn't work IRL, but still.

Got a bit weird for my taste, especially Leonardo's part, I find myself fast forwarding his parts to Medici's and Lucrezia's

I've been watching it, and I love it. I actually caught up with the most recent episode yesterday. However so far season 2 has been a bit of a letdown as compared to season 1. The whole Book of Leaves thing has been a bit underwhelming so far. Riario's probably my favorite character.

Finally a thread for this show. It's like Dan Brown crossed with Indiana Jones and the mc is the very definition of "smartass."

I agree with most others. Loved Season one except for the whole Book of Leaves vision things, and now the story is progressing more in that direction, and it's kind of meh.

I'd rather Da Vinci stayed in Florence.

Oh man, is that all you got from Spartacus?, the blood spurts. Trust me man the story and characters from Spartacus are a hundred percent superior to this show. You should pick it up again, trust me it is soo much more than blood and sex.

No no. Didn't mean to imply that I hadn't seen the whole thing. I did. The first season was undoubtedly excellent, but after Whitfield died and they replaced him with McIntyre, the whole show sorta suffered, including the writing, and I steadily lost interest. Manu was awesome until the end though.

Hopefully Tom Riley won't kick the bucket.

It's already in season 2? I keep seeing the promos which are pretty interesting but haven't managed to get to it yet.

Started watching it, definitely has shades of Spartacus to it. It's a decent watch, definitely one I'll keep on my list.

Watched the recent episode, it was interesting and its good that Leonardo is going back to Florence although I was dissapointed in hearing an inventor claim that something couldn't possibly have been invented without the book.

I just realized that the book of leaves is the Voynich Manuscript.

Whoa, so many reveals happened in the finale...pretty much turned everything that happened so far on its head. I'm looking forward to how Niccolo's character will evolve in the next season, but other than that...the whole Labyrinth/Mithras conflict isn't really that interesting to me.

Also, another season ending right before gun/cannon fire? Are they going to make this a trend?
