I don't see the problem if she is 14. Besides Harry is banging Narcissa, Bellatrix, Tonks, Lily, Fleur at that age anyway.

 

Western mindset? Actually, incest isn't really "right" (however you want to define that term) from a biological perspective, given the Westermarck effect. The evidential support for it is not very strong, but it is there, and it neatly explains why incest is rare. The reasons people like reading about incest are various, including the standard attraction to taboo topics, but it is worth keeping in mind that you're reading about somebody else's incestuous relationship. You project yourself onto the main character, who is having a relationship with the main character's mother (in this case, Lily Potter). Lily Potter is not your mother. If the story described Harry having a relationship with a character who was actually your mother, I suspect very few of you would enjoy it nearly as much (if at all).

I don't get the bitching. Nothing is impossible to write well, pedo!potter included. The problem isn't the theme of way-to--close father/daughter relations, it's that the writing sucks. It's not terribad, the author has a handle of decent spelling and grammar, but the characterizations, plot, everything that makes it a story, is either missing or shit. Every name could be changed, and if it weren't for the three mentions of magic you couldn't tell it was a HP fic. That's not odd for smut, but the smuty bit is sub par at best. 2/5

(I rated this story 2/5 because, despite the fact it's written well, it isn't very entertaining and I don't think the characterization is at all realistic, with the exception of Ginny.)

 

I don't mind Taboo Fic's, however this was way to creepy for my taste.

 

Thank God this ended in the Trash Bin.
