    I won't comment on this foolishness any more than I'd try to reason with a man insisting the world is flat. The rank stupidity inherent in the question proves far beyond any rebuttal I could make the ignorance of the speaker.

    Basically, Daphne is the new Fem!Blaise. All those annoying cliches - ice queen, father is a lawyer and/or into politics, 'grey family' - were used on Blaise first.

    The fact that this board was created for alternate pairings/alternate genres pretty much sums up why a lot of members like the pairing, even if its hardly ever written decently. A lot of people enjoyed Bellatrix/Harry back in the day - not so much anymore.

    The ice queen cliches especially. I think most of the amateur writers use it because they want her to be a virgin so that Harry can be her first, otherwise she's not 'worthy' enough to be paired with him. :facepalm

    It has less to do with the fact that they want her to be a virgin and more to do with the fact that they can't think of anything else.
