Hmph, if only there was an IMAX around here...

Still, at least I'll get to see it tomorrow.

I actually got back from watching that movie probably about two hours ago.

This movie is simply amazing. There is literally nothing about this movie that I didn't like. I just...have no words to describe how awesome TDK was.

I have to agree with Demon. Best $9.75 worth of tickets I've ever bought. Speechless to the awesomeness of Joker and Batman. They've fuckin delivered. Just Pure win. What evil villian would want his nemesis alive just so he can toy with him another day? J-man.

Holy fuck, that was incredible. THAT is how you bring the joker to life. Also, best magic trick...ever.

Honestly, at first I was highly skeptical as to how they would do the joker; in most of the cartoons, and even the last movie with him, he was, well, crappy. I've never been much of a fan of the Joker, but I have to say that this movie really turned me around. The dogs instead of hyenas was a very nice touch, and how real his insanity at times seemed was beautifully shot.

Similarily, I just about had a heart attack when they showed Twoface - chemical burns my ass, the way they combined CGI was superbly done. I'll probably go see it again next week just for him, to be honest.

Oh, did anyone catch the line towards the beginning of the movie when Bruce is inspecting the new armor? Something to the effect of:

Bruce: "Will it stop a dog?"

Walter: "I doubt it would stop a cat, master Bruce."

Oh please let the next movie be a Catwoman showdown (without Halle Berry)! Selina in a catsuit For the Fucking Win.

Regardless, get off your ass and go see this movie; entirely worth the $9 for midnight tickets.

Absolutely fucking amazing. I saw it in the IMAX and I was amazed throughout the entire length of the movie.

Gotta agree with everyone, this is one of the best movies I've ever paid $10 bucks to see. I was surprised how much I liked it, as I don't usually like superhero movies, but I was just amazed throughout the whole movie.

Heath Ledger did an absolutely incredible job as the Joker.

The only complaint I had for the whole movie was that I didn't like the way Two-Face's face looked.

One problem with the joker is that they always did the complete idiot funny joker. The orginal Joker and especially Frank Miller's joker is more like Ledgers.

Dark Knight' sets box office record with $66.4M

Excellent, an epic movie is set to get the record for Biggest Opening for a movie. The fact that a movie as shitty as Spider Man 3 held the record really bothered me. I'm pleased to see the Dark Knight possibly overtaking that.

By the way, the opening day for The Dark Knight completely destroys the $48.2 million opening weekend of Batman Begins.

Just 6 1/2 hours until I watch, and I don't think I could be anymore excited.

That the movie smashed Spider Man 3's record doesn't surprise me at all; everyone I know has been absolutely raving about the movie, from die-hard comic book fans to the girls who've only made time to see Sex & the City.

I could only snag tickets for the IMAX showing for Tuesday (!), but I don't know if I can hold out that long now.

Just got back from seeing myself and...wow.

Whoever said that this will be hard to top is both right and wrong, if Nolan does make another Batman movie with the Joker in it then he will be pressured to make the Joker out due TDK, which will be difficult.

However, if Nolan were to focus on another villain, say Mr. Freeze for example, then, while still difficult, it won't be as bad.

I got tickets to the 930am showing on Friday about 2 weeks ago for me and my girlfriend (all the primetime showings for IMAX were already sold out for the entire weekend Thursday through Sunday), them my friends dragged me out for the 1201 showing Thursday night, so I ended up seeing it twice in 12 hours, first on the normal screen then on IMAX... the second time was still amazing. I dont see how they can ever top this unless Heath Ledger's death was a fake.

Nobody else is ever going to be able to play the Joker again. Ever.

I'm going to add my voice to all the others, and say that movie was unbelievably awesome; it was chalk full of incredible one-liners and owned moments. Go. Now.

Also, that was quite possibly one of the greatest magic tricks ever.

    QFT!

    Anyway, I just saw it.

Amazing movie. One of the best I've seen in a long time, and the definite best superhero movie that has come out.

I am going to go see it again. And then I'll buy the DVD.

I just watched it in the King of Prussia IMAX theater, and the show was sold out, along with every following show. I hope The Dark Knight can break every record ever recorded, because this movie deserves it.

Where to begin, reviewing this movie? To be honest with you words can't possibly do justice to how epic of a movie this is, but I will give it a try.

The first thing I want to mention is about the audience. No one and I actually mean no one went to the concession stands or the restroom throughout the entire movie. You have all been to movie theaters, and that is feat unheard of, combine that with the length of this movie, and you get an idea of how great this movie is. Not only did no one leave, but they were all quiet throughout the whole movie, until the end. When everyone gave it a standing ovation. On a side note after the movie ended the line to go take a piss was ridiculous. I actually had to wait 7 minutes to take a fucking piss.

The second thing that stood out was the acting. Every single actor in the movie brought their A game. Ledger's performance was everything it was hyped to be. There wasn't a single dull moment with him throughout the entire movie. However, Joker's best came when he was with the Batman. The interrogation room scene between the two was absolutely great, and I don't think I have ever seen a better than it. Their confrontation following that one was also epic. The dialogue for the Joker was fantastic, throughout the entire movie, but when it came to these particular parts, it became even better. A lot of credit should go to the writers for having such excellent dialogue. Also, Ledger's delivery was absolutely on the mark. It would be a travesty for him not to win the Oscar, because he truly deserves it. This was a career defining performance for him, and this is the role which is going to be talked about, when it comes to his legacy. I’m sure Ledger is happy with that, he would rather have the Joker be his legacy than a gay cowboy.

There was one line from the movie, which made me kinda sad. It's when Joker says "You and me [Batman] could do this forever. Until that point, I didn't think of the actor behind the make up, but when he said that line, I was just sad. What greater praise is there for an actor, than making the audience forget that he died? Again, that Oscar should be Ledger's. Out of respect to Ledger, they shouldn't recast the Joker. Nor would any other actor be able to top what Ledger did, and it would be incredibly unfair to ask any actor to do so.

One thing that surprised me was Aaron Eckhart. I thought he would do a good job as Harvey Dent/Two Face. However, he completely surpassed my expectations by turning in a great performance. For obvious reasons, you can't compare his performance to Ledger's, but he really got into playing the character of Harvey Dent. He made me care about Harvey Dent, and his fate.

I liked what they did with Harvey throughout the movie. They showed his entire story, which made me care about his transformation. I enjoyed the subtle clues to Harvey's other personality. His scene with Officer Rachel Dawes showed that he had the potential to be a cruel bastard.

Gary Oldman turned in a spectacular performance, as well. He got a larger part in this movie, and he made the most of it. I thoroughly enjoyed his story. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman do their parts justice, as well.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was a vast improvement over Katie Holmes. Gyllenhaal, while being less sexy than Holmes, gave the character of Rachel more intensity. She also did a damn good job in her last scene, until she blew up. Bye Bye, bring on Talia or Catwoman.

The one liners were fantastic, and the humor it presented fit in with the dark tone of the movie. The action was superior to Batman Begins in every right. I appreciate Nolan’s decision to shoot the movie, with as little CGI as possible, much more. The movie looked as realistic as possible, which is always a bonus.

This movie was a thrilling ride, and even after 2 ½ hours, I didn’t want it to end.

Personally, the Dark Knight has become my favorite movie of all time, and the best movie ever made, others will obviously disagree with that. However, there is absolutely no doubt it is the best comic book movie ever made.

Johnny could come close, but I'd rather see him as a different villian than be cast as the joker.
