They might scoff, since many don't consider comic-based movies as legitimate, or they'll resist so that it doesn't look like TDK got a sympathy vote because of Ledger. I agree, nevertheless, that it was the best film of the year.

If you have an HDTV smaller than 50", or haven't seen it in IMAX already, don't waste your time buying the blu-ray: GO SEE IT IN IMAX. It's mind-blowing.

I probably watch it at least once, maybe twice a year. It's one of those movies that never really gets old for me.

Rewatched the whole trilogy. Sooo good 5/5.

 

That original trailer is goddamned chill-inducing. That Joker laugh is so good it's unfair.

 

To be honest, I never really got the hype behind these movies.

They're good, sure, but they're not the Second Coming of Jesus.

I saw them like two or three times and that's that.

 

I've always felt that Begins is the better Batman film, tbh, although TDK is a much better overall film. Both are far superior to TDKR, which has a host of failings both as a version of Batman and just in general as a film (slightly unusually, I think, I don't count Bane as a failing; he's awesome, voice and all)
