I've played this before. I was just annoyed at the ridiculous amounts of gold needed to do anything

 

Is it worth it to train advanced units?

 

I trained some elite units, and I can sometimes take down armies twice my size.

 

Always train up advanced units, I have no normal units apart from miners. I have over 2000 knights, all on steeds, and about 3 1/2 thousand elite archers, over 2000 on defence towers. Leads to shit loads of attack and defence. I also have just over 9000 miners, which gives me something like 1.3 million every turn.

You should (all of you who have joine dthe DLP alliance) all have noticed that you are ranked as NEWT leavers just now. The first person to get to a high enough rank (ill know when) gets promoted to Head of Magical Law Enforcement. A little race for you.

 

I've just joined and I have a question.

Those people in level one that have a huge amount of people but no real army... should I take them on and their gold?

Is it worth the risks of getting retaliated and getting my arse kicked?

Or are they just farming units?

 

Always attack those daft enough to have loads of gold and no army. Better do it before someone else does.

At later levels, you have to be careful, cause of otehr upgrades and things, but at low levels, if they have very little in the way or an army, go at them. Its the players fault for leaving their gold out in the open. It is no use getting offended if you are attacked and your money stolen. It literally happens to everyone all the time. Its good etiquette, not to attack the same person more than 3 times a day. If you do it more than that (up to the max of 5) then it is usually taken by advanced plaayers as a declaration of war. If you farm them, ie attack 3 times a day every day for several days, then they are likely to get their alliance onto you if they have one.

 

I would like to congratulate BrokenApparition on being promoted to Head of Magical Law Enforcement, and wildthing8 on being promoted to Head Auror. Well done to both of you, you now have the ability to invite people, so if Im away and another person from here joins the can be in the alliance.

And well done to the reast of you on how you are progressing. I will probably review the ranks every week or 2, and see who needs promoted and such like. It will be the person with the highest level that is Head of Magical Law Enforcement and the 2nd highest who is Head Auror, apart from me of course, cause I stay minister of magic.

 

Mordecai, does the alliance have any allies? Because, as a joke, I typed in the Harry in the search, and came up with a Harry potter. He's a memeber of Slytherin. Maybe we could be their allies, if they are strong enough?

Yay I'm a head! WOOT. Thanks Mordecai. I like Haunted's idea too, if we could allie with different alliances we could be hella good when we all get higher lvls.

A few hints, you can click your own link, you can click the link once from each IP (like a friend's computer), and you can do it once every 24 hours. Also, use the DarkThrone recruiter.
