I was wondering if anyone actually watched this during its original run.
Also if anyone has seen the movie yet, is it worth buying?

For those of you that haven't seen it; Dead Like Me is a quirky, dark comedy about reapers.

 

Guh, is there a chick-reaper in this named George? This is bringing back some memory in that line.

 

Yes, George the Reaper. Toilet-seat Girl. I watched the first season. My ex girlfriend bought me the dvd set too.

 

Since the movie came out, SciFi has been thinking of bringing it back.

 

I caught the first season, but gave up in the second. It wasn't a bad show, I just couldn't get into it.

 

I watched it all a couple years ago, after it had finished. It was worth the watch, but I don't have much desire to go back and rewatch. Haven't seen the movie but apparently it sucks. Omits a bunch of concepts introduced in the show; soul rot, for one.

I remember liking the lead actress...

 

If you're a real fan of the series, don't watch the movie. I liked the premise of the series, but saw many flaws in it. I did enjoy the movie though, if only because the whole idea is still there.

I started watching it when the first season ended, and was disapointed to see it canceled.

Daisy's character gets a horrible overhall in the movie. If they do bring the show back, I would hate to watch the Daisy in the movie for longer than required.
