yeahh I work at a movie theater so I was able to get tickets opening night. I thought it was hilarious. everybody was clapping when depp made his first appearence on the screen with shooting that crow. ha and like midknight my fav scene was when depp shot the undead monkey at point blank ha. I liked the cliffhanger I actually didnt see it coming. The third movie comes out May 24th with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix coming out like two weeks later.

I loved it, tied for the best movie i've seen this year with Taladega Nights (i love stupid comedies). My favorite scene was when Orlando Bloom see's Depp as a tribial leader/god and Depp starts talking to the tribe in there native tongue, i laughed my ass off, I also thought Keira Knightley was real hot..

I liked it a lot, too. Depp's first appearance (the crow-shooting) had me laugh aloud. It was a good sequel, but it was too much of a...sequel. It can't exist in itself, especially because of the aforementioned cliffhanger. Or should I say "cliffhangers". Way too many things were left hanging...

Will Norringon have his reputation and his rank back?

What will Beckett do with what Norrington gave him? (Jeez, this is annoying to try and avoid writing spoilers!)

How will Jack survive? (and don't say he's not gonna survive, he's the soul of the goddamn movies!)

How will Elizabeth explain her... gesture to her dear fiancé? (What a bitch...)

And of course, how everyone will find him and the Black Pearl?

The first movie was better because it was whole and self-sufficient.

*Spoiler* coming back from the dead... That was a bit too much. The movie didn't needed it. The whole fight for the Black Pearl between the two captains was supposed to be over! I do hope they're not going to start it all over again, but my expectations are not high, given the last sentence of the movie...

Otherwise, I hope we won't dwell too much on Elizabeth's feelings about Will and Jack in the next movie. A girl hesitating between two guys... this sounds like a bad romance fanfiction.

Well, he *does* get shot in the chest by Jack, fells over and drops his apple, and lies all glassy-eyed and open-mouthed on his treasure. So I had naïvely assumed he was dead.

(So much for trying not to spoil...)
