Night 6 has concluded.

Some of us did not survive the night:

A masked individual visited KaiDASH's home and used the Killing Curse on him. KaiDASH was the Hit-Wizard.

An individual well versed in martial magic visited Ayreon's home and accused him of being a Death Eater. A fight ensued and Ayreon perished--he was a Wizard.

Day 7 has started.

Wow, I'm still alive.

Whomever the Warlock is, I thank you for not making a grievous mistake in killing me. It is sad that an innocent was the one to suffer for what I can only attribute to indecision, but alas, if it gives me one more chance to avert this travesty of justice then I shall grasp it with both hands.

I have laid out my claims many times now, so I will not restate them. I only ask that you look over the evidence of my accusations and judge whether Fiat is indeed the humble, pro-town man he claims to be, lest he be a Death Eater leading us all on a merry chase. I am prepared to die to prove me innocence, but I ask you now, do we have the time to spare to lynch an innocent man when there are still two Death Eaters and the Sorceror on the loose?

Well if I wasn't leery of Aekiel before, his last post and Hash's thumbs up on the first post who voted for him seems to have cinched it.

As an aside, I wonder if we should ask players who are dead not to give thumbs to any post in this thread (save perhaps Merrill's)? It seems like it's just another way to influence the game - and if you're dead, you shouldn't be able to do that.

I'm thinking about it.

To me, there are two main suspects right now. On one hand, we've got Aekiel. All the stuff against him has been spelled out in detail so I won't go into it anymore. I think the evidence is flimsy at best.

On the other hand, I really think Fiat's dirty. I'll restate my beleif from one of my earlier posts.

Plus it seems that he jumps on every single lynching bandwangon I've seen, and he could be following Kai's tunnel vision plan to wipe out three more innocents.

So yeah, I might as well vote now.

Aw, screw it. I finished typing that and looked at the tally, and apparently we're one vote away from lynching him. One thing I swore I wouldn't do was hold up a lynch.

I'd like to point out to the idiot that accused me of being a DE due to extreme lurkerness:

That means I post, on average, once every four days or so. Me even remembering this game is going on is lucky in and of itself. I can vote, sure, but other than that I've got no special powers, so this game is dreadfully dull to me.

Twilight is the frame of time between a successful "lynching" (in this instance, the Dementor's Kiss) and the natural conclusion of the day. In twilight, you may still post and discuss anything that has happened, however you cannot vote to have anyone else receive the Dementor's Kiss.

We got one - awesome. With their sorcerer out of action the DEs will be pretty crippled in their effectiveness at trying to kill the last pro-town role.

 

We forgot the first rule in playing mafia or any of its variants: Kill Aekiel as soon as possible.
