Meh I don't care if they split into two movies as long as they have these scenes I be happy.

- Voldemort showing off his charisma side in his little prep talk with the deadeaters in Malfoy Manor

- Voldemort and Gellert little chat

- Voldemort flying

Sorry to spoil the fun Spielberg fans but it's confirmed. The same fucking retard who directed the Order of the Phoenix(David Yates) is signed on for the last 3 movies for those who didn't know. Get ready for a huge HP movie suck fest.

I wonder what the movies would have been like if Peter Jackson directed them, he created a 75% success on LoTR, but he was dedicated to that and would have stuck to canon 100% if he had the ability to have each movie 24 hours long.

Meh, it's true that David Yates is a bit of a pussy, and not a very good director, but Newell fucked up worse IMO.

At east now we can hope not to have so many "shaky" plotholes between movies (can we?)

 

I think that they will have enough material to make the movie in two halves, if only because they will have to continually keep cutting back to important information that was excluded from the previous movies the first bloody time.

Oh that has given me an idea;
The first movie will be a 'Whoops we should have told you this a long time ago in the correct places in the previous movies but we couldn't be arsed'.
The second will be the Deathly Hallows movie itself.

 

I don't think they'll have trouble padding it out, chances are the combined running time of both movies will be about 3 hours.
It's only because of antsy little kids they go for a low rating and max running time per movie of like an hour and a half.

Overall content will be shit.
They might try to make Harry "hardcore" and start the second film with stubbly, long haired Harry.
On second, thought that would kill the tween fans.

 

If they ever have Harry with stubble, I will burn the cinema screen and walk out. Period.
