That is great sleuthing. However, Ginny has the flowery smell that the potion has, but the flowerly smell is from the Burrow and Ginny has only the flowerly scent not the smell of the broomstick or the treacle tart. I think that theory is dead except in fanfiction. I find it more likely that Harry and Hermione were effected just by the fumes and latched on the first thing that came to mind. I love the idea and would enjoy reading a fic about it, but it won't be what happens especially since she has the habit of forgetting what she has written in other books.

I don't recall the potion smelling like dirt and wet dog in canon...

 

The potion has so set sense of smell, so if it makes you randy...

 

dirt, wet dog, and overused vaginal secretions... shes fucking everything that isnt taken according to jkr now... and probably some that is... more reason for her to die... if harry ever ends up with tonks .. or.. and i really cat believe im supporting this ...cho... then she might try to steal him.. and therefore, my minurature thesis conclusively proves she must die...


anyone ever thought s setting up a worldwide petition and sending the results to JKR ot see if we cant accomplish this?

 

^He isn't sure and it didn't say he smelled it at Grimmauld too, which means it could be someone else. The might suggests that it isn't a smell that was always there (the other smells were identified without a problem) which means it could be
a) the twins made some love potion while Harry was around before the world cup (they spent the whole time perfecting their products).
b)that the flowery smell was Fleur [French - flower].

 

Listen guys you have it all wrong what Ginny smells like.

We all know she smells like Dried Man Juice mixed with Anal Leakage Fluid and just a faint undertone of Magical Creature Semen/Vaginal Secretions, with a heavy overtone of Feces and Rotting Flesh.

And thats here "GOOD" smell.

When she has an odor problem... Well lets just say she smell liks *urhg* *shudders* the smell defies logical examination.

 

If Fleur wanted to repay me for saving her sister, I would say, "Well, my broomstick could use a good polishing."

THEN I would pull out my firebolt and make her clean all the dried twigs from it as well. :wink:

Fleur wouldn't mind doing just that *snickers* after all, he is powerful, rich, and brave/hero. Everything Veela are supposed to look for based off of Canon.
