I'm going to blame Vira and Miner for this, since neither of them told me the day was starting early.

I asked them to ask you guys. :V

Don’t think it would have really made a difference either way.

    Day Ends

The scumteam of Jan and Vaimes win!

Alright, so first off, the last two days or so was run pretty much solely by me.

And I'll take full responsibility for not pinging people that day started.

On the other hand, I first expected people to understand that night ends in 24 hours (but apparently this was wrong), and also I didn't expect snapvoting to be a thing.

I took over these past couple days because Vira's been busy. I haven't actually modded before, so please, relax. Vaimes would've won in the majority of scenarios anyways.

So, yell at me if you want, but I'm trying my best here. Haven't slept in ages and I stuck in daystart between a class and a lab. Didn't really have the time to ping.

Congrats to Vaimes and Jan, ggwp to everyone. Sorry about the fuckups, I'll learn.

Eh. I gave bears about a 30% of convincing dC going into the Day, so it mattered a fair bit, imo.

Gj Von. Tell me what you want your cheap prize to be when you visit. Jan sucked, but that's to be expected when he's the worst.

    It's Stanari's fault.

Sorry to everyone (especially Beru) for completely losing my shit. I promise I'm not an actual crazy person I was just lost in a tempest this game.

    GG! Congrats Vaimes!

I had the game solved and that's ok but if you had lynched me over Jan I probably would have deleted my DLP account. Luckily I can blame the mods for the actual loss, yolo.

fucking dammit I trusted you people about vaimes meta

yeah no I was trapped in "don't make the same mistake twice" land RE: not lynching the obvious town's pick for scum. If I'd run over Vaimes and beru had been scum it would have been RWBY v2 and I would have quit DLP if not mafia entirely.

I mean I wouldn't have snapvoted without the inevitability, really. I'm not quite that dumb. I just was completely not going to let myself be convinced to change course at that point b/c like

I can't read either beru OR vaimes so I don't trust myself

yeah idk I'm sick of being alive at LYLO. That should be my incentive to get better at town, I think, the game where I got shot two nights in a row was such a relief

    You played really well dc.
Obvious town and good game solving.

We just couldn't nightkill you because one alignment players like regfan joined the game.
Who is not a good town just so much worse at scum.

    Bears play was scummy.
They started multigaming and basically stopped solving in this game after they got townread.

Playing the obvious scum that derails the thread and distracts from his partner went better than expected for me.
    Not my strong suit overall.

Vaimes you did well and are a free misslynch from now on.
    Good job.

    NOW you tell me :v
    --- Post automerged ---
But yeah I'm starting to realize that the snapvote was not in fact a good idea, even if I think my chances of actually changing the vote were next to nil (I am 99% sure I would have wined myself out of it with "I will never live it down if scum!beru convinces me not to lynch them")

reading obs is kind of touching

would play with everyone else here again, it was a good game, Vaimes did well to stay behind cover and recognize when other people were being shit on and he didn't need to speak up and apparently how to play to his town meta.

So takeaway is no more free passes for Vaimes, which will inevitably lead to me attempting to mislynch him until exactly the point at which he rolls scum again

Imo you should try to trust in yourself and not fall into "will never live this down" type thinking as that's just going to lead you in circles.

Don't blame you at all for snapvoting, think if you'd let the day play out to deadline you'd have maybe ended up voting Vaimes but eh, not worth dwelling on imo and the game's over and we can all move on. I certainly expect that I'll never play this horribly again and am taking a ton of lessons away from this game mostly wrt how my mental state affects my play and not letting oog stuff fuck with me in the way that it did here. Think the game was lost day 2 and day 3 not in f3 and a very significant part of that was my fault.

I'd totally have caught Vaimes. Way to go Newcomb, you're the best at hypothetically doing things.

Also fonti you even lampshaded the fact that Vaimes had like, 50->25->10 posts per Day and that that was his wolf meta exactly, heh.

Looking forward to Vaimes getting mislynched approximately 29492929 times now ;)

All on you to protect vaimes from now on, Newcomb.

No one will trust fonti or myself from here on out.
